Nagoya, Shirakawa-go, and Takayama Full-Day Guided Tour

Ling was our guide and he was a great guide! I had the same tour last summer but our guide wasn’t speaking at all, so Ling is exceptional. He speaks English, Japanese and Chinese. The meeting place was easy to locate, we were given ample time to go around the area and Ling gave us recommendations where to eat and where to go. It was a nice tour in total!

We unfortunately went on a terribly rainy day (we got soaked head to toe), despite this the places we went were all swarmed with tourists. the views were nice and we got a vague glimpse into historic life (even though everything was basically converted into a cafe or souvenir shop). The guide was friendly and considerate, with good English, he sent itineraries via whatsapp, which was basically a list of recommendations for us to free-roam. The worst part of the trip was the tiny bus we were all crammed into (with assigned seating), I had to sit in a seat above the bus wheel and my joints were sore for hours after the tour. This tour requires approx. 5 hours of bus rides.

Our tour guide was an excellent chinese and engish speaking guide. she was professional. The tour in shirakawago was such a dream. Thank you, Klook for your wonderful tour packages.

Great route! Rainy days have their beauty, and sunny days have their beauty. No matter the weather, the beautiful scenery is intoxicating. Special thanks to Da Peng and Biao Biao~ I'm very lucky today.

Join the Takayama Old Town + Shirakawa-go Gassho Village day tour. The guide, Mr. He Yingyi, explained the historical and cultural background of the attractions in great detail. A great experience.

I came in November during the fall, and the autumn leaves were very lush. The photos I took turned out beautifully. However, it rained that day, so the weather was very cold. I recommend that everyone come not only in winter to see the snow, but also in autumn, as it is also very beautiful!

The 2 places visited worth for it. enjoy eating the famous hida beef ramen , puddings at Takayama old street. Shirakawago indeed a very nice place to visit even we have only 2 hrs.

Guide Eiichi and Driver Chan have provided excellent service, Guide gave very clear instructions and weather was fine. Timing a bit rushed due to travelling distance but wr managed to see all the places of interest. recommended
