It was such an enjoyable experience joining this cooking class in Hanoi! I didn’t expect that, aside from learning how to cook authentic Vietnamese dishes, we would also get to immerse ourselves in Vietnam’s vibrant culture. The instructors were welcoming, the experience was fun and hands-on, and I walked away with both new cooking skills and a deeper appreciation for Vietnamese cuisine. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hanoi, it’s definitely one of the highlights of the trip!
Better than expected and i understand why Ban chan is so popular here now, our Chef Maxie was very good and she spoke her English well so we could understand her instructions. It really worth the time and effort for the price we paid for, 2 full course meal and a nice egg coffee! will definitely come back!
We had such a lovely time. We learned a lot and had lovely food to eat at the end. Maxi was absolutely amazing, professional, entertaining and extremely kind. I definitely would recommend this experience to everyone.
* Expert Guide: Aroma is a fantastic teacher—knowledgeable, patient, and passionate. * Insightful Market Tour: The class started with a tour where Aroma expertly explained the ingredients and their uses. It set the stage perfectly for the cooking. * Impeccable Facility: The kitchen was spotlessly clean, modern, and all the tools needed were prepared for us in advance. * Clear Instructions: Aroma broke down every step of the cooking process in a way that was easy for everyone to understand, regardless of skill level. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic and fun culinary adventure! Dishes taught: Fried spring rolls, Bun Cha, Chicken Pho, egg coffee.
This was my second time joining this cooking class, and I totally enjoyed it again! Such a fun, hands-on experience and a great way to learn how to make classic Vietnamese dishes like bun cha, pho, and summer rolls. The class was well organized, the food was delicious, and the free coffee was a lovely bonus. Definitely worth doing in Hanoi, even if you’ve done it before!
the cooking class was great! Collin was an amazing teacher and explained everything you needed to know about Vietnamese cuisine, would highly recommend!
we loved it!! Maxie is a wonderful storyteller, she’s very clear with her instructions, patient with us and guided us very well. She’s also quite funny and thorough which made the entire experience seamless. would definitely recommend!
Thoroughly enjoyed my morning with Kim which included a tour of a local market to pick up ingredients and then preparation of a delicious meal. We wrapped up the meal by making egg coffees. Highly recommended
The ambiance is excellent, and the instructor, Alex, is kind and friendly, with a generous demeanor and fluent expression, which added a lot of color to the whole experience! The only drawback was the cooking experience, which was rather poor. The twelve participants only took turns cutting vegetables or seasoning, and each person had very little hands-on cooking experience, as the entire group worked together on one dish. It is suggested that participants be divided into groups of two, with each group cooking a portion for two people, so that everyone can participate.
The team were friendly. our instructor Trevor was knowledgeable, kind and quite funny. Great experience, and food was absolutely delicious. would recommend.
