Cusco Machu Picchu Sacred Valley 2-Day Private Tour

The Sacred Valley's Pisac ruins, Ollantaytambo ruins, and Machu Picchu are must-visit attractions to learn about Inca history and enjoy the local customs. The only fee that is not included is the 70 sole entrance ticket for the four Sacred Valley attractions, which must be paid separately. The travel agency arranged professional and enthusiastic guides for both the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu sections of the tour. The journey was so smooth and natural under the guidance of the tour guides that I can recommend it to friends and family. The only things to pay attention to are reminding the local travel agency to be on time for pick-up and drop-off, and ensuring that the self-service lunch on the first day is scheduled at the optimal time to avoid running out of food.

I highly recommend this itinerary. We visited two historical sites in two days and one night. The handicraft market itself was a bit like the stalls you see outside tourist attractions, but the transportation for the entire tour was very well arranged. Even though the train was significantly delayed, they patiently waited to take us home. We were able to enjoy every stop without worry. Thumbs up! However, I personally suggest allowing for some free time before and after the trip to rest, otherwise, the tight schedule and travel can be quite tiring!

overall a good tour to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. there was good communication with all parties. firstly, the tour agency was quick to confirm the booking via WhatsApp. One evening before the tour, they sent a rep to pass us all tickets and explain the tour process. On the morning of the tour, Mr Rehider picked us up on time; he explained each attraction very well and gave us time for photos and exploration (Pisac and Ollaytaytambo historical site tickets not included, 70 Peruvian soles for both.) He then dropped us off at Ollaytaytambo station where we would then make our solo journey to Aguas Calientes, where yet another person would meet us and bring us to our hotel. Finally, the guide for Machu Picchu (another person) would pick us up from the hotel on Day 2 morning and he gave us a good tour; he was late though. Thereafter we were left alone to lunch and explore Agua Calientes further, before make our own way back via train/bus to Cusco. Overall a good trip.

our tour guide Jose Luis is awesome! he went above and beyond showing us the best of Machu piccu and also very knowledgeable about Inka history and culture! I highly recommend him for this tour!
