Cusco a Machu Picchu Overland – Cultural 2-Day Tour

Jose was fantastic, very accommodating and approachable, and did not leave us throughout our journey to Machu Picchu. He served as our guide from Cusco to Aguas Calientes. It was very good well organised trip with an excellent guide José Antonio. Our guide really took care of us as a good friend, and we were everywhere in time and could get the tickets to the sunrise on Machupicchu and that was incredible. Would recommend this tour if you wish to save money and nerves and enjoy the best experience in Machupicchu.

Choosing this guide for my Machu Picchu trip was an excellent decision. First, the service provided was outstanding for the price, and I was amazed by the value for money. Lunch was provided on the first day and was delicious. The guide's explanations were also very thorough, allowing me to explore the ruins while deeply understanding the historical background, which was very satisfying in terms of knowledge. What was especially wonderful was that they took plenty of time to show me around until I was completely satisfied. There was no rushing like in a group tour, and I was able to enjoy the scenery to my heart's content. Also, they provided dedicated support throughout the tour, and I am truly grateful that they didn't show any displeasure when I left something behind and diligently helped me search for it. Even during the trek, they took many photos at scenic spots and livened up the atmosphere, so I felt ingenuity everywhere to make the walking time itself enjoyable. They were always there for me from beginning to end, and thanks to this guide, it was a wonderful trip that will remain a lifelong memory.

If the guide determined the route was dangerous due to rain or other factors, they suggested a safe alternative. I also felt reassured when landslides caused by rain prevented us from reaching our destination, as they consistently communicated and responded to the situation. The Machu Picchu guide also showed us photo spots and took many great pictures for us. The explanations were easy to understand, and they patiently answered all our questions. This tour deserves more than 5 stars. I'm so glad I chose this tour.

We were taken care of by a kind and very friendly team who went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. We would have liked to spend a little more time (30 minutes more) at Machu Picchu to admire the site without a guide. The return trip to Cusco was a bit long by car (11 hours) due to traffic and road conditions. A big thank you to the team.

I absolutely loved this Machu Picchu tour! The bus ride from Cusco was about 6+ hours, and then we hiked 10 kilometers to Aguas Calientes. For the return trip, I splurged on the train for a different experience. Our tour leader, Jose, was amazing – very attentive and considerate of everyone. He's a great guy!

After the car stopped behind the power station, no one told us what to do. Because the people in the car weren't originally with our group, but just sharing a ride, we were very confused. We only had 20 minutes for lunch before starting the hike. The person in charge asked for our location along the way, but the network connection was bad. Why didn't they tell us the arrival time when we got out of the car? It wasn't until we saw the guide in Aguas Calientes that we started to receive clear instructions. Our guide, Stiven, was excellent. He was punctual with pick-ups and drop-offs, gave clear and detailed explanations at Machu Picchu, and proactively took many photos for us. We are really grateful to him! If it weren't for the good guide, this trip wouldn't have been worthwhile. The guide saved the entire trip.
