What to expect

Suwa Lake Fireworks Festival The Suwa Lake Fireworks Festival is an important annual fireworks festival in Nagano Prefecture, attracting more than 500,000 people every year to enjoy the festival. With more than 40,000 fireworks, it is also the fireworks festival with the largest number of fireworks launched in Japan! Lake Suwa, where the event is held, is the largest lake in Nagano Prefecture and is said to be one of the sources of inspiration for “Your Name”. The Suwa Lake Fireworks Festival is divided into two stages. In the first stage, a total of 10 fireworks masters will compete with their own designs to show the creativity and beauty of each fireworks master! The second stage is the “Kiss of Fire” that lights up the entire night sky over the lake. The semicircular fireworks launched from the lake gradually merge with the fireworks from the “Hatsujima” launch station on the lake, and finally become a hemispherical and 2,000-meter-high aerial fireworks waterfall! The explosion sounds accompanying the fireworks echoed across the valley, which was extremely shocking!

Yokoteyama “Manten VIEW TERRACE” Yokoteyama Ski Resort is located at an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters and is the highest ski resort in Japan. Looking down from the “Manten VIEW TERRACE” on the top of the mountain, you can not only have a panoramic view of the local Shiga Plateau, but also have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Japan Alps when the weather is clear!

KUSATSU ONSEN Kusatsu Onsen is located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. The natural outflow of hot spring water exceeds 32,300 liters per minute, ranking first in Japan. Kusatsu Onsen is one of the three best hot springs in the world, along with Arima Onsen in Hyogo and Gero Onsen in Gifu. It has been voted the best hot spring in Japan for more than 20 years.

Akino Sunflower Field Every year from late July to late August, the sunflower fields in Akeno, Yamanashi Prefecture, are in full bloom. More than 600,000 golden flowers sway in the mountains, and with the majestic backdrop of the Japanese Alps in the distance, every visitor is stunned.

Shiraito Falls Shiraito Falls is one of Karuizawa’s famous tourist spots, known for its fantastic scenery. The waterfall is about 3 meters high and 70 meters wide. Countless fine streams of water flow down from the rock wall like silk threads, just like a natural water curtain.

1. The Klook Suwa Lake Fireworks Festival venue seating area had good location and was spacious. The fireworks explosions had diverse patterns and were colorful, making it very worthwhile to watch. 2. Other attractions like "Akeno Sunflower Field" and "Yokoteyama Sky Terrace Lift" were also pretty good. 3. The planned Kusatsu Onsen was changed to Shiraito Falls and Old Karuizawa Street. Since we had been there before, we were not very satisfied. 4. The most unsatisfactory part was the "Nagano Shiga Kogen Onsen Hotel." The hotel was old, the rooms were small and had terrible soundproofing. The rooms didn't have a bathroom, and the large public bath was very small and didn't have any amenities. The breakfast was simple, with only a few side dishes, miso soup, and rice. It was the worst hot spring hotel I've ever stayed in. Overall, this trip was quite expensive, costing nearly NT$14,000 per person, but the accommodation quality was terrible. I do not recommend this itinerary.

The hotel is quite old. There is no bathroom in room but toilet. Need to go to B1 floor to take a bath and the bathroom is onsen. No private shower available. But i saw other room in hotel have bathtub in room so the tour choose the cheapest room type for us but the tour price is not that cheap.
