[Hakone & Atami Fireworks Day Trip] Mt. Fuji Hakone Shrine & Floating Torii Gate & Lake Ashi Lakeside Stroll & Atami Sun Beach & Atami Fireworks Festival (From Tokyo)

This day trip was amazing! Our guide, Yuan, was professional and friendly, and the driver was thoughtful and reliable. The meeting time and location were clearly explained, and they provided support via WhatsApp throughout the day, which was reassuring. The entire tour was in Chinese, and the time spent at each stop was more than enough, making the itinerary very comfortable. The main attractions were absolutely beautiful! First, we went to Lake Ashi to take pictures, and every angle was incredibly photogenic. Then, we visited Hakone Shrine to pray and admire the classic torii gates and lake views. The biggest surprise was the Atami fireworks! ✨ There was no one blocking our view on the steps, and the fireworks exploded right in front of us. I couldn't get enough of watching and taking pictures! There was also time to shop and try local snacks. The whole trip was fulfilling and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! This has been an amazing day. Mika, our guide, was wonderful, from clear directions for where/when to meet, support via WhatsApp, multi-lingual communication speaking in clearly in English, Japanese and Chinese. Hakone, was the first stop, and was breathtaking. The Torii gate on Lake Ashii was very special, with the shine above. There was a beautiful pond area with lots of koi carp and lotus flowers. There were lots of food stalls with sweet and savoury options, we just opted for ice cream on a hot day. There were lots of accessible, very clean toilets. Next stop was Atami, with the beach, pier and Ginza shopping street (not to be confused with the Ginza area of Tokyo). Again, lots of restaurants and street food available. There was live music on the pier and the whole area had a wonderful vibe. We opted for the cruise to see the fireworks which was a little crowded, but definitely worth it. Then back on the coach to head back to Tokyo. Perfect day out!

This trip was fantastic, and a special thank you to our guide, Kevin! He would inform us of the schedule and important details for each stop in advance, and his arrangements were very thoughtful. At each sightseeing spot, he would carefully explain the historical background and share the best ways to experience it. Throughout the trip, there was plenty of time for sightseeing and rest, without feeling rushed. The tour bus was comfortable with fresh air, and the driver was always on time for pickups and drop-offs, which made us feel very secure. At Atami Beach, Kevin not only reminded us to prepare for boarding but also helped us get the chance to board in the first group, allowing everyone to snag the best spots for enjoying the fireworks. Although the boat was crowded, the view was still excellent. He also enthusiastically helped everyone capture beautiful moments of the fireworks, leaving us with precious memories. What touched us the most was that Kevin always considered everyone, alternating between English and Chinese translations to ensure everyone could understand and have fun. Although he is young, he is full of energy and friendliness, making the whole journey relaxing and enjoyable. We are truly grateful and sincerely wish him all the best!

This one-day trip to the outskirts of Tokyo was very good. The tour guide Xiao Wu explained in detail that the fireworks display is from 0820-0840. Please don’t miss the fireworks because of the small amount of time. The location we chose seemed to be very close to the fireworks, and the fireworks seemed to explode very close to us. In addition, Xiao Wu also added other attractions to recommend to us, such as shrines, check-in hot spots, special celebrations, etc. If he missed it, Xiao Wu posted the pictures and videos in the group for everyone to see. Although it was quite foggy in Lake Lushi and Mount Fuji could not be seen, the trip was still very complete. Thank you for your hard work, Xiao Wu ~ I also want to thank the driver for escorting us all the way from Lake Luzhi to Atami. It was very foggy, but the driver was able to drive stably on the mountain road with nine twists and thirteen bends👍🏻 and also thanked the driver for quickly sending us back to Tokyo after the fireworks display. The whole group caught up with the railway and returned to the hotel🙇🏻‍♀️Thank you to the driver~

Really enjoyed this trip, and really enjoyed Mika's tour and professionalism (5-star review!). The Hakone Peace Torii gate looks beautiful in photos, even though there are a *tiny* bit too many people. My 3 favorite points were: the pudding in the shopping street (thank you for Mika's recommendation, totally worth it! Worth the little bit of queueing!), the street food stalls (fried fries and night market fried noodles!), and the grand finale Atami fireworks! I took the boat tour, and saw several super big and beautiful fireworks, with a panoramic view~~ Five-star trip, five-star Mika tour guide!

This trip wasn't rushed at all, with plenty of time to wander around. If you don't know what to do at Hakone Shrine, I recommend walking past the pirate ship boarding area; if you're lucky, you can see the summit of Mount Fuji. After arriving in Atami, it might be a bit late, and almost all the shops will be closed. So, the Lawson convenience store by the sea will have many tourists buying things to eat. You can see the fireworks from Atami Marine Park, but I suggest not choosing to board a boat, as you'll have more free time to wander around.

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and energetic. Regarding the itinerary, perhaps due to concerns about potential traffic congestion later, the time allocated for the first stop, Lake Ashi, felt rushed. Taking photos of the floating torii gate from a distance, finding a spot to photograph the giant torii gate, lining up at 7-Eleven to buy food and onigiri, rushing to take pictures of the Hakone pirate ship docking, queuing for the restroom, and then just barely making it back to the bus on time – a 30-minute stop was really pushing it. I didn't even have a chance to look at the souvenir shop the tour guide enthusiastically recommended 😂. Upon arriving in Atami, basically only convenience stores, snack stalls, eateries, and one drugstore were open. If you don't have to wait in line to eat at a restaurant, there's actually plenty of time.

Very special itinerary which starts in the afternoon. Don’t have to stress about waking up early and rushing for time. Our guide, Mika was very caring and helpful, and the driver was also very professional. The fireworks at night were amazing, and looked super close from the cruise. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Tour guide Mika is super cute and constantly reminds everyone to pay attention to the weather and points out the location of restrooms! There's a WhatsApp group that clearly states the meeting place and time! The weather was great, and we could see Mount Fuji! The itinerary was well-arranged, with enough time to visit Hakone and Atami! The fireworks in Atami are really worth seeing! You can comfortably enjoy the fireworks from the shore~
