Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route Day Tour from Nagano

What to bring: Drinks and snacks, waterproof shoes, waterproof jacket, umbrella, hat, phone cross-body strap, backpack, wet wipes. We went on a small tour with our Alpan guide, just 11 of us. It started at 8:00 AM and ended at 1:30 PM. First, don't go to the snow wall; go to the pond first and walk as far as you can. You can see everything at the snow wall in about 25 minutes round trip. You can see the pond with melted ice, the hot springs in the distance, and if you're lucky, even the mascot bird. The bird poses well, so you can comfortably take photos. Although it was a very quick tour, I'm satisfied. I'm thinking of going again personally during the upcoming winter season. Alpan guides are the best! If you get an Alpan guide, your trip will be much easier.

by far the best thing we did in japan. the snowy landscape is breathtaking in may. the tour is very comprehensive and organized. the guide is friendly. every thing is well laid out. you just got to go. we came with our 6 yr old so it is a family friendly tour. top notch

it was great one for the books to experience the snow for the first time! The weather was good so we were much lucky enough to go through the snow wall via cable car. Memorable experience from start to finish. The Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route offers breathtaking scenery—especially the snow corridor. Every stop was well-timed, giving enough opportunity to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. The tour was well-organized, with smooth coordination throughout the day. Our guide, Arpan was knowledgeable, helpful, and kept the group on schedule while still maintaining a relaxed pace. Transportation was comfortable, and the entire journey felt seamless despite the multiple transfers involved in the alpine route.

A hassle-free solution to explore Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Ms Ashley is a professional and friendly tour guide, her multilingual skill is impressive. The instruction given was very clear and we have sufficient time to admire the views and take photos. We departed at 7am and back to Nagano around 6.30pm, on a not super-crowded Monday.

Our lucky day! The whether was good , the guide Mr Arpan guide us along the journey and make sure we see every part . Thanks to him , running up and down to get the transport ticket from each stops . Nice experience and will definitely recommend to friends and family ..

It was a great experience. The panorama was amazing. It must be one of your bucket list if you come to japan and feel an antimainstream experience, becase japan was not only Tokyo, osaka and kyoto, that cities were overtourism.

Our tour leader, Ashiey, demonstrated professionalism and dedicated service, meticulously managing the itinerary and ensuring the safety of all group members throughout the trip. The time spent at each stop was just right, never feeling rushed or hurried. It's worth noting that many tours only cover half of the route (Ogizawa to Murodo and back to Ogizawa), but this tour goes from Ogizawa to Murodo and then to Tateyama, completing the entire route without backtracking!

Arpan, our guide is helpful. Schedule is tight due to transportation availability each location, but overall I enjoyed the tour. It must have been more enjoyable if it did not just rain. Thank you, Arpan!
