Show the QR code at the service center of Kanazawa Station to redeem it. Please note that you can only sit in unreserved seats when traveling, so you cannot take the かがやき! Use this pass to visit the Dinosaur Museum in Fukui, a beautiful Cafe in Fukui, a small train ride at Kurobe Gorge in Toyama, the Toyama Glass Art Museum, and you can also go shopping at the aeon mall in Shinkoku! Highly recommend this pass, it's worth the money! In addition, this purchase he gave an Ishikawa Enjoyment Pass, you can choose three places to go, I chose Kanazawa 21st Century Art Museum, Samurai Yashiki, and went to the shopping street next to the station to exchange 2000 yen shopping voucher, very cheap!
this pass is just amazing you can combine it with the JR kansai wide area pass to go to Kanazawa you will just need to book separate tickets if you come from Osaka to Okayama on Shinkansen then a thunderbird from Okayama to Tsuruga. the pass can be used in the newly opened station in Tsuruga ! you can then explore all the stations but be aware you will be allowed to use only non reserved seats ! this is usually cars 1-2
worth every dollar and cent! easy way to get around the area. Although, it would be best if you start your trip from Osaka or Nagoya. This pass does not cover initial trip from Tokyo to the Hokuriku area!
Although the price has increased to 7,000 yen, I took the Shinkansen from Tsuruga to Kanazawa, and back and forth from Kanazawa to Kurobe Unazuki Onsen, and I am going to Toyama tomorrow, all by Shinkansen, non-reserved seats in carriages 1-2, very comfortable, it should be You can get your money back. You can take the jr bus in Kanazawa, but there are few buses. In fact, it takes less time to walk to the scenic spots, because I didn’t go to many places to check in. If you go to many places like Tosougun, it’s still very cost-effective, because the Shinkansen ticket The price is very expensive. A casual ride costs 3,000-5,000 yen, so 7,000 yen for 4 days is still worth it.
it is very good and conveniace to visit that area. Especilly use together with Kansia area pass vist, Himeji, Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, Toyama, Kanazawa.
If you're traveling in the Hokuriku region and prefer not to drive, a JR PASS is a great option for independent travel. You can choose to stay in one city for several nights, or use your JR PASS to take the Shinkansen for day trips to various cities in the Hokuriku area, which is very cost-effective. I visited Kanazawa, Shin-Takaoka, Takaoka, Amaharashi, Himi, Toyama, Unazuki Onsen, and Komatsu over four days, and it was very convenient.

Although the price of this pass has increased, after four days, the price from Komatsu to Kanazawa, from Kanazawa to Fukui, and from Kanazawa to Unazuki Onsen has completely exceeded the ticket price. The Shinkansen part is at the last station, so even if it is a consecutive holiday in Japan , unreserved seats are also available, and you can also purchase reserved seats on sightseeing trains and use the pass instead of the freight. If you want to travel slowly in the Hokuriku area, it is recommended to buy it.
Great value for money! It will save you time, effort and money. Very easy to redeem and use. Help you explore the beauty of Hokuriku Region. Enjoy!
Easy to use and redeem. Great value for money as you can use it to ride Shinkansen. However it is only for consecutive days.
