really love it. we stayed in old quarter and also got pickup service from our hostel to the bus office. the trip was so smooth for us and also got dropoff service to our hotel. If u are in hanoi, Cat ba island is the first one that should go.The views are really worth to go and see.

Wait for the vehicle at the location shown in Figure 1, where there is a small office next to a Bingxue milk tea shop. There will be a brief stop at a service station along the way to use the restroom or buy snacks, but the stop is very short. The service provider will give you a badge to wear around your neck to distinguish customers. You will cross the sea at the location in Figure 2, and the badge will be collected after the crossing. The entire trip takes 4 to 5 hours. We boarded the bus at 1:45 PM and didn't arrive at the hotel until 6:30 PM when it was already dark. This is because other tourists might be late and the bus has to wait, traffic at the departure point can be heavy, and the vehicle may make stops at other pick-up locations.

It was a very good experience. I took the van from their branch in Hanoi. The van was comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised because we took the cable car to cross over to Cat Ba (it was a beautiful view). After crossing, another van was waiting for us and took us to our hotel. They sent me the cable car ticket and the driver's information via WhatsApp.

This was honestly one of the most well-organized transfers we’ve had in 6 months of traveling. We booked through Klook for a transfer from Cat Ba to Hanoi, and everything worked exactly as it should. The whole trip took a bit over 3 hours and felt seamless from start to finish. The process was smooth: - pick-up by bus directly at our hotel in Cat Ba - short ride to the ferry terminal 7 to 8-minute ferry crossing. - Straight onto the next bus to Hanoi (~2.5 hours) No confusion, no waiting around, no “figure it out yourself” moments. Every handoff between bus and ferry was clearly coordinated, which is rare in Southeast Asia. The buses were comfortable with qorling AC, timing was accurate, and everything just… worked. That alone makes this stand out. If you’re traveling between Cat Ba and Hanoi and don’t want to deal with logistics, this is a very solid option.

Bus was on time. Took about 3H 30Min to reach my hotel in Cat Ba. You will be taking a bus from Hanoi to the Boat Stn. There is a 10min stop in between for toilet breaks. Once at the Boat Stn, you'll be transfered to a speed boat which only takes 10mins to reach CatBa island. And then another bus to your hotel.

super easy right from my hostel in Hanoi to the one in Cat Ba everything included ! The seats were comfortable and the guides were lovely and helpful

Affordable and convenient option for travel between Cat Ba Island and Hanoi. You can be picked up from your hotel in Cat Ba town and dropped off in the old quarter of Hanoi.

Whatsapp confirmation a day before helped us feel confident we would be picked up. The message confirmed our location and time for pick up. It was timely and we were picked up in our lobby. transportation included a 20mins toilet break and an area for refreshments that you can pay for. we transfered on to a speedboat to get to Cat Ba and then to another bus to get dropped off at our hotel. bus passed by one of the guests’ hotel and they had to grt off and walk to it. i would recommend to keep an eye on where your hotel is while on the bus. let the driver know immediately if they passed it!
