Saigon Countryside Half-Day Cycling Tour

A very nice trip which brought us to a very nice and calm part, still in the middle of the city, but with a feeling of being in the countryside. Going by bike was really nice which gives a much better feeling for the surroundings. Curly, the tourguide, did an excellent job with big enthusiasm and knowledge.

We enjoyed it! A respite from the crazy hustlings in HCM city. Our guide Talia is very attentive and shared lots of information with us. We were surprised to be given an exclusive trip with just the 2 of us. Feeling VIP! We got to walk along the corridors of authentic government-built flats to take a sneak peak of the apartment units where the locals live. I like that.

Saigon tour! The guide showed us around the countryside of Ho Chi Minh and was very enthusiastic about talking about the history of Vietnam. We were able to learn about the lives of people who live in the countryside away from the city. It felt like we were spending our time slowly!

Curly was such an awesome guide. ❤️ This was the best possible break from the city and was a highlight of Vietnam tour. Curly was super attentive to my safety and comfort throughout the tour. Such an awesome experience. Highly recommended for tourists who want to explore beyond the typical sights of HCM. ✨

Had a great time with Quang on this small group tour around the Phuong 28 corner of Ho Chi Minh City. It was a surprising getaway from the modern bustling city centre and tourist area, getting to see a local market, old postwar era apartments, and pockets of farms away from the city centre and tourist areas. This definitely rounded off the HCMC experience. Manageable even as an amateur urban cyclist, and felt safe even on the busier stretches. Definitely worth checking out!

Normally, there is a lot of noise in the urban area of Ho Chi Minh City, which keeps buzzing in my ears. When I come to this island, I can finally calm down. I can follow the tour guide through the country roads, appreciate the local customs, and do some exercises to stretch my limbs.

First of all the guide was friendly, however we think she lacks of training, not professional enough in some ways.. very difficult to describe, too many. And there’s a time she was constantly using phone which was quite odd for us. Second, that the whole trip was boring, really nothing’s special, we didn’t get overwhelmed by any scenerio, food, fruit. Wish the route was well-planned, def in the middle of this trip we wanted to go back to our hotel already.. … Lastly, the quality of the bycicles are extremely bad! How can this activity cost so much money if they can’t provide better ones omg.. Well we regret a lot to participate, like a lot.

The meeting address was shown as the office address on the map, which caused me to take the wrong bus and it took me more than an hour to get there. No one contacted or gave confirmation information before departure. This was very bad. During the trip, the tour guide was very nice and the experience was good. I learned a lot about fruits and local culture.
