Reviews
Wow, what an experience. After a tour of Gion, we enjoyed a truly delicious and authentic 10-course meal, and as a highlight, we had a Maiko visit us. She provided very impressive insights into her daily life, kindly answered our questions. She danced for us, and we played a game together. By far the most memorable experience of our trip to Japan! Highly recommended!
This was such an amazing excursion, I think everyone should have this on their Kyoto itinerary. Hikari was the sweetest guide and provided an extremely immersive and personalized experience. The additional history lesson of the area was such a nice touch. The food was incredible and the Maiko/Geiko was so personable and kind, — despite the language barrier (which Hikari was able to help us bridge). If you want to have the pleasure of seeing a Geiko perform and take a picture with her, this is the best thing you can book.
Hikari was our guide and she was fabulous and personable. we really enjoyed the dinner and the company. Also getting to meet a Maiko in training was such a treat, we asked loads of questions and they were so honest which was fab. what a great, once in a lifetime experience!
The experience was a highlight of my Japan trip. The guide (Yusuke) was extremely knowledgeable and facilitated the group mingling and enjoying the delicious dinner. The maiko was superb, graceful and fun and just a pleasure to watch.
the guide Peco was very good, hard working, passionate, knowledgeable, friendly, very energetic. Maiko was fantastic interacted with us….. enjoyed the whole evening with food, drinks and entertainment
This is a highly recommended experience with lots of culture, laughs, and delightful food and drink. Our Maiko was exceptionally talented, and our guide had perfect English and Japanese translations. The guided tour was very good, and it helped us to learn a lot before meeting our Maiko. the unlimited drinks were a hit, and we met others from all over the word in our 7-person group.
Nobu was an amazing tour guide and we had the most enjoyable experience listening to her explain the pieces of history and the area we were in. The restaurant she took us to was delicious and the Geiko that entertained us was so fun and made everything lovely and highlight of my trip to Japan!
Love this experience. Out tour guide Josh was very nice and the tour was very well organized! Meeting with Maiko was a lovely and unique experience. The small group setting was great and it is a very special experience that is well worth doing . I would recommend everyone not to miss this !
This was the best part of my trip to Japan. The guide was so informative, funny, and kind. Meal was fantastic but the best part was meeting the Maiko and having a chance to talk with her, take photos, and even play a traditional game!
Dinner was absolutely delicious, and we were lucky enough to have a geiko arrive; the show was beyond words!
