I had a great time at Immersive Fort. This is a must visit and one of the best activities I did in Tokyo. As a horror movie fan, Immersive Fort did not disappoint me. I got scared, my team screamed so loud! Kuddos to the makers of those fun activities.
This was my second visit. The last time I went was right after it opened, but it was even more powerful with more content! I got a better deal by paying with a PayPay day-limited coupon via klook. Immersive Death Game - The electric shocks really hurt! It was a sharp attraction with a thrilling and shocking ending! Immersive Halloween - The suspense and party of not knowing what was going on where was the best! Next time, I'll be excited! I want to see the whole Fortevita case file
It was an amazing experience, we loved the electric train to the fort, great video or photo opportunities. The atmosphere was excellent, recommend you try costumes as we didn't & totally wished we had😭 The staff were polite& helpful. Make sure to check what the times are for shows as we missed a few because we didn't 😭but everything else made up for that, especially the finale. We were so entertained & seen so much, so check it out as we will when we come back🙂
went there for Alice in borderland’s attraction as it looks fun. it certainly is! There are many other attractions and street performance which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially with the current Halloween theme. most of the attractions have English instructions or English subtitles (Alice in borderland on screen; immersive story on designated app). the only one that requires you to understand Japanese to fully engage is the street performance which is understandable. however I was able to enjoy without understanding everything.
It was a great experience. We took my eldest daughter here for her 17th birthday. We danced, escaped from an escape room while running and hiding from a gang, participated in a Sherlock murder mystery, ran through the streets with other people, and enjoyed a dinner show. It is the perfect place for teens and adults to have fun.
This is a type of theme park that is unique in Japan. It advertises a sense of immersion, but I think the secret to enjoying it is to act as a resident or a tourist. Of course, you can also enjoy it by looking around as a spectator. There are ways to enjoy it even if you go alone. (I have experienced it) For paid content, I recommend "Tokyo Revengers". For restaurants, I recommend "Cabaret". At the cabaret, you can enjoy a full-fledged show. You can even get a drink, so I recommend watching it from the audience. Although it is different from the original cabaret show, a chorus practice of a person named Fiona is held as a show at a place with a piano in the city. If you participate in this and cheer Fiona on from the audience at the cabaret performance, I think it will be a great experience.
This time I didn't buy the special ticket with the additional fee, but I had a lot of fun. You might think that this is what it's like when your expectations of being immersed in the world of a movie are too high, but I would highly recommend it to people who want to experience a party-like atmosphere like a show or a live performance. Since it was a former shopping mall, the attractions themselves are only things you walk through on your own and there aren't many of them compared to Disney or USJ, but the cast is luxurious and the performance that draws the audience in is luxurious, so I thought the price was set accordingly. If you find your daily life boring, it's worth visiting once for a change of pace. If you ask me if I would visit many times, it's not cheap so I can't say I would visit often, but personally I would definitely go if there was a collaboration with my favorite anime. It's still new, so I'm looking forward to the future.
Immersive Fort Tokyo is an impressive place that sets itself apart from the other theme parks in Japan. The concept of European architecture was nicely executed and the set is so amazing! We gawked at everything we saw inside. We enjoyed the free access that came with the basic package, and is now considering the paid attractions within on our next visit.
Previously, it was a theme park where you could spend the whole day, but after the renovation, it has changed considerably and become a facility where you can enjoy each production individually. Sherlock has added new episodes, and it has become a production where you can enjoy a deeper story. You can immerse yourself in the story from any position you like, and occasionally the characters will speak to you, so it has become even better. However, the productions are performed in Japanese, so people from overseas may not be able to enjoy it if they just read the text on their devices.
Fortevita forever. The current park will close in February 2025. From March, there will be only paid attractions. It's just a shame. I'm sure it was a business decision, but it was fun to have the unprecedented experience of chasing the events in the park all day. I wonder if they couldn't have preserved the many charming characters in some way. It's just a shame.
