stable WiFi connection throughout the journey, the train was on time, no delays. the views were nice too! we got the standard car, it was okay
The passenger train journey is the best. The inside of the car is air-conditioned and comfortable, and there are outlets on the wall by the window where you can charge your smartphone. I took the train from Hanoi to Hai Phong, and the departure was on time, but the arrival was a few minutes late. You can buy coffee and snacks on the train.
The train is on schedule, tickets can be printed from the machine using your booking number from klook. In fact, the ticket is 105k vnd that is $6 here as Deluxe. The seats on the train are comfortable, but greasy and dirty.
I didn't go there because there were no parking spaces for the return trip. So I had to give up. During the processing process, the customer service staff were very nice and patiently solved individual requests and unanswered questions. Thank you so much.
The booking system makes the trip more easy for planning and the train schedules are punctuated, you just need to be there about 30 minutes before the departure time.
The train is really curly. We had the fantastic experience of being trapped and stranded at the station because it was flooded. Ride when the weather is nice. The voucher itself is the ticket. Seats are assigned, so ask and get on.
Purchase at your own risk. I personally bought Hanoi to HaiPhong (6am) and HaiPhong to Hanoi (6pm). Only the return trip got confirmed. End up having to physically go there to purchase and request for refund from this merchant!! Ended up not having any more space for 6am, and have to take the following one ...
Cheapest train tickets but the train was really run down. Also, if you have heavy luggage from Hanoi, expect to be carrying it up & down massive flights of stairs to get to the train.
It is very disappointing that the time and instructions were not provided properly after reservation. The train is old and slow, the ride quality is poor, and the internal facilities are worn out and disappointing.
