Staff was extremely helpful when we needed assistance. Breakfast buffet, though not included, was generous. The king room was modern and very clean, but space was tight.

Lovely hotel, entrance is off the Main Street down a side street but easy to find. Hotel is tastefully decorated, check in was simple, staff were friendly. The hotel was Japanese themed beautifully, with lovely touches on each floor. The rooms are very spacious, well appointed with plenty of power points and USB hubs. Bed was comfy and shower had good pressure, no bath in our room but that suited us fine. Great position to see the Hongan-ji temple, Lawsons and 7/11 were a 5 min walk. it’s about a 15-20 min flat walk to the station. we didn’t eat at the restaurant on site, but looked lovely. Overall a great stay and a quality Mercure property.

Great hotel and extremely friendly staff. The hotel is located off the main road on a quiet street and is about a 10 min easy walk from the JR Kyoto Station.

Love the interior,deco as well as the toiletries. Had pleasant stay. The reception reacts swiftly to my needs of having the ironing and the board to my room. Will stay here next time I’m in town!
