Very near to the train station. Convenient. Room was kinda small, but understandable as this is japan we are talking about. No luggage forwarding service, hv to drag my bags to the post office myself, luckily it is just a 5 minute walk. Breakfast spread was very small, just eggs, breads, soups & hot drinks.

This is a no -frills hotel but was clean and comfortable. The location is not particularly good (very little around it and a long walk to restaurants).

Price was right. Standard compact business hotel rooms. Very convenient, a three minute walk from the train station. Buses leave on the other side of the station for Karato fish market.

Right next to train station and many places to explore along the bay. Also far enough away from the main roads that it was generally very quiet at night. Very much enjoyed it!

Stayed one night to do some shopping and sightseeing nearby. Check-in was quick and the room was comfortable with a nice from of the city. It was convenient to stay right next to Shimonoseki train station.

I am not sure if the staff spoke English because I speak Japanese, but the staff definitely seemed accomodating. I checked in late and the clerk helped me find a place online that sells pizza. The actual room was spotless, it was kind of comfy as far as the bed is concerned, and I could control be heat using an A/C switch located next to the bed. 3/5.
