Penghu Water activities

Experience: The sunrise is incredibly moving, watching the sun emerge from the horizon. Because sunrise tours require an early start, there are usually fewer people, and the instructors often take the opportunity to capture many beautiful photos. Safety: The waters around Suogang are actually quite safe. Under the guidance of an instructor and with the protection of a life vest, it's quite easy to get back on the board if you accidentally fall into the water (the instructor will also help you get back on).

The meeting time was 20 minutes before departure, scheduled for 7:40 AM, but we actually departed at 8:00 AM because we were waiting for a group of tourists. There was a guide on the boat who stayed with us, for example, we'd agree on a time to follow her for a tour, and the service was pretty good. However, on the return trip, there was no commentary about the islands we cruised past! We had 1.5 hours at Dongji Island and 3 hours at Qimei (including self-arranged lunch), which was plenty of time! It was great—the whole island-hopping day trip wasn't expensive, highly recommended! 👍

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

The blue sky and white clouds paired with the emerald green water make for a picture-perfect paradise! The guided tour helped us learn more about the lighthouse's history, making it a worthwhile visit. **Water Activities Were Super Fun** Snorkeling, SUP, banana boat, and other activities were all included. The instructors were professional and humorous, and safety measures were well in place. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many tropical fish; the underwater scenery was truly stunning! We had an absolute blast with the water activities and it was completely worth the trip. **High Degree of Freedom on the Island** After renting a scooter, we could leisurely explore Qibei Island, enjoying the white sand beaches, fishing village charm, and seafood snacks at our own pace. The feeling of not being rushed was fantastic. Riding the scooter on the beach at sunset with the breeze was incredibly romantic! Overall, this itinerary offers excellent value for money, including ferry tickets, scooter rental, water activities, and the lighthouse tour. It covers all the main highlights in one go, so you don't have to run around organizing things yourself. I originally thought we wouldn't see many beautiful sights in Hangwan, and figured it would be good enough if they offered snorkeling for the kids. However, our coach turned out to be a very knowledgeable and handsome young man. I told him he resembled Ah Cui from the Fubon Guardians. He provided a thorough explanation of the unique features of each scenic spot along the way. Furthermore, we discovered that Love Fun is genuinely dedicated to helping the government restore coral in the ocean, having successfully transplanted the Lavender Forest, which is typically only found on southern islands. Each segment truly made us appreciate Penghu's waters even more. Thank you to the coach for taking photos of our entire family throughout the trip.

It was so much fun! My son insisted on giving it a five-star review. In the morning, we went out to sea to catch eels, crabs, and fish. After returning to port, we dug for mussels in the intertidal zone. After a lunch break, we went on an afternoon cruise and then fed seagulls. It was a very fulfilling and exciting itinerary.

Fish Trapping with Stone Piles Stone piling is another traditional fishing method in Penghu, besides stone weirs. It involves building stone piles (piers) in the intertidal zone during low tide. After fish use these piles as habitats, a net is used to catch them when the stone piles are dismantled. My younger daughter and I participated in this activity last year. She couldn't stop talking about it afterward and kept saying she wanted to bring her mom and sister to experience it. So, we took the opportunity during this trip to Penghu to do it again.

It's a superb one day tour when my family really did enjoy every minute of the tour. Snorkeling, sea slides, sway fast boat and fantastic lunch... Every details is done well to our satisfaction. Staff are humorous and passionate through the whole day.
