Highly recommended! The facilities are excellent and the attractions are very interesting. The price is very reasonable for enjoying the views using the Gondola and the Barouche carriage. Lockers are also available for storing belongings, but unfortunately, this is not included in the package, so an additional fee is required.

Definitely buy! Great value for money! Cheaper than buying directly from the Iwahara Ski Resort official website. Location: Process: 1. Take the Iwahara Ski Resort shuttle bus at "Hotel Green Plaza Naeba Joetsu Information Center" (you can Google the timetable) and get off at "Iwahara Ski Resort Resort Center 1." 2. Walk 2 minutes to the ski rental shop "Rental Ski Shop Bear" and show your proof to get your equipment. 3. Walk back to "Iwahara Ski Resort Resort Center 1" and show your proof to exchange for your day ski pass. Enjoy!

This review is for the guesthouse: The guesthouse is very traditional, with no elevator, and our room was on the third floor. It was a tatami room, and it came with a kotatsu (heated table) and a heater. We had to make our own beds, which felt just like what I used to see in old Japanese cartoons. It was quite fun to do it myself for the first time, just like in the cartoons. When we first entered the room, it was very warm; we could open the window for ventilation and also enjoy the night snow view. All rooms are private rooms with shared restrooms (on the same floor, separated for men and women). There are two bathrooms on the first floor, and both allow for soaking in the tub. The front desk staff were friendly and very proactive in assisting us. :D

This message is about the coach service: When I made the reservation, based on the options selected, I thought I was booking for February 23rd. Meaning, I expected a coaching session on February 23rd and an overnight stay that evening. But!! I was wrong!! It turned out to be an overnight stay on February 23rd, with the coaching session only on the following day, February 24th!!!! That day, I double-checked on Klook, and it definitely didn't state that the class was on the next day!!! I was incredibly shocked at the time, because we were supposed to return to Tokyo the next day! I hope Klook can add a note to the options. Fortunately, I spoke to the front desk, and the hotel staff helped contact the coach school. The coach school was also very accommodating, even though it was a Japanese holiday and bookings were full. They still managed to help us find a qualified coach. And it was only an hour later than our originally scheduled class time. The coach school's service was also excellent; they sent a car to pick us up at the hotel. First, we went to the ski equipment shop to try on gear. Free items provided included: helmets, snowboards, and snowboard boots (lace-up style). Then, they drove us to the Nakazato ski resort to meet the coach. They also drove us back to the hotel afterward, where we could take off our gear. The coach (Japanese) was very enthusiastic and full of energy. All four of us, with no prior experience, were able to ski well that day. It felt a bit like a blessing in disguise, haha!

I'll buy it again! The ticket machine at the base of the mountain already allows redemption, and Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort is huge! The slopes are wide, and I had a great time skiing! It's perfect for practicing! I love the gondola the most.

We had an incredible time at Gala Yuzawa Resort. It was our first time experiencing snow, and we rented our ski and snowboarding outfits and equipment there. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and we highly recommend adding this to your Japan trip. Our only regret was staying for just one day because it’s definitely something you’ll want to enjoy for longer. The staff were very organized, and everything was well managed, which made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free.

Regardless of its distance from the station, the room's comfort and the hotel staff's service attitude were all above standard!
