Toki no Kane tours

Our tour guide Mizki is very informative and responsible. She will explain to us in both languages. She likes to draw some cute illustrations when sharing the stories or information. As Karuizawa and Kawagoe are quite far from Tokyo, majority of the time were spent on travelling. Nevertheless, I had fun and enjoyed myself. I'll be back to these two places again.

if you love nature this tour is for you! This tour was supposed to include a stop at the outlets in Karuizawa but thankfully no one in our group wanted to shop. Thus, we spent more time exploring Karuizawa and enjoying nature! Our guide, Josh, made a good call at the start of the tour and we went Kawagoe first. It turned out to be a great decision as we were able to explore more of Karuizawa. Lunch was a little rushed though as we were conscious of the time it would take to drive back. Unfortunately, there was a bit of traffic on the way back but this was unexpected and nobody’s fault. Josh was a great guide, gave instructions clearly, and kept time well. Since everyone spoke Mandarin and I didn’t, Josh would speak to me separately in English which I appreciated very much!

I attended with 10 Chinese guests as the only one who could only speak English. It was a bit disappointing that the autumn leaves didn't fully bloom, but I had a great trip looking forward to the next time. Aileen, the guide, is good at English and explained things step by step. After lunch, the meeting was at 13:10, but I mistakenly thought it was at 13:30, so I leisurely looked around, but when I received a KakaoTalk message from Aileen, I ran very hard and was late, so I felt a bit sorry for the others, but I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The driver was the fastest driver I've ever met in Japan... haha

Our guide Mari was great and we had a wonderful time exploring Kawagoe. It was a relaxing walk around the streets and we really enjoyed all the food we tried as well.

The driver informed us very clearly about the pick-up and drop-off locations, and because it happened to be during the festival traffic control, the vehicle could not approach. He also tried his best to confirm our location in time to pick us up. The driving skills were good, but we were all so tired that we fell asleep directly.

Linda was kind and down to business, she made it clear what times to get back on the bus so we would not miss it. Good hiking at the last stop where the Pagoda is. The lunch ranged from 2000-3500 yen, but coffee/soft drinks/refills were free.

Highly recommending this trip to whoever is planning to go to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Our tour guide Ms. Amy has been helpful and she shared some tips / insights during the trip. Everything went smoothly as planned in the itinerary including the departure and arrivals times despite the drizzling weather. Thanks as well to our driver Mr. Naganawa

We joined the Mt. Fuji 5th Station tour and had a wonderful experience. ✅ Hotel Pick-up – This was a big plus for us, especially since we were traveling with a toddler. It made the start of our trip stress-free and convenient. ✅ Itinerary – We followed the tour package’s schedule, and everything was well-paced. It was easy to enjoy the stops without feeling rushed. ✅ Van Service – The private van for 9 people was very comfortable, spacious, and perfect for families or small groups. ✅ Driver/Guide – Our driver was not only professional but also knowledgeable. He shared helpful insights and made sure the ride was smooth throughout the day. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable tour—comfortable, family-friendly, and well-organized. I’d definitely recommend this for families (especially with young kids) or groups who want a convenient way to explore Mt. Fuji without the hassle of public transportation
