Things to do in Bukhansanseong Fortress

We had such a lovely experience at Proust Perfume. The place itself was beautiful — hanok-style, calming, clean, bright, and very relaxing. We really enjoyed making our own perfumes, and the scents were lovely. This was actually my second time visiting, so I decided to bring my friend and my mom with me this time. The person who helped us was very kind, patient, and helpful, and took the time to explain everything properly. Overall, it was a really nice and memorable experience. I would definitely recommend it.

I'm Japanese! This was truly the best experience ever 💛 My husband is very large, so we rented hanbok from another shop and then came to EeHwa Studio for the photoshoot. The hanbok rental shop opened at 8:40 AM, and our photoshoot was scheduled for 9:00 AM, so I checked on Instagram beforehand to see if we might be late. They were very kind and accommodating. Then, after changing into our hanbok, we got lost on the way to the photoshoot location... I was flustered, worried about being late, and whether we'd even be able to do the shoot. My husband was sweating profusely... We were both quite stressed, but the photographer greeted us with such a kind smile. All my anxiety, tension, and worries instantly vanished. The photographer spoke Japanese and gave us various poses with such care, kindness, and fun. My husband is a bit shy, so he was quite apprehensive before the shoot, but the photographer was such a great flatterer! "You're doing so well!" "This looks great! So cool!" In the end, he was really getting into it and enjoying the photoshoot, haha. The finished photos are also wonderful, and I find myself looking at them many times a day. The download process was easy too 😊 I would love to request another photoshoot someday if our family grows 💛 Thank you so much! 🌼

My daughter and I had a wonderful time mixing various scents to create our own signature perfume. The atmosphere was beautiful and calming and Insung, our guide was amazing and very detailed in explaining all the steps. A perfect way to spend time in Korea.

This was already my third one-day calligraphy class! 😊 Every time I come, I feel like I learn something new and experience new joys. So far, I've learned the Jeongja-che, Panbon-che, and Heullim-che styles in order, and it was really interesting how each style had its own unique charm. I'm also very grateful to Teacher Neulbit. They were always kind and meticulous in their instruction, which allowed me to learn in a comfortable atmosphere. I also felt at ease asking questions, so I enjoyed every class. Most importantly, thanks to taking classes here, I've developed a habit of consistently practicing Hangeul calligraphy every week. The time I spend writing has become a precious time for me to calm my mind and relieve stress. I look forward to seeing you again next time! 😊 I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Hangeul calligraphy!

Lovely experience with warm and welcoming host, Jennifer. She explained the history about the dishes and the ingredients. Went with my daughter and we made our favorites, gimbap, tteokbokki, pajeon and army stew. I will highly recommend this to anyone who want to learn more about Korean cooking. 💚💚💚

Jiyoung is a great tour guide. I unfortunatley injured my finger during the hike, and she was attentive in helping me tend to the wound. The trek was more challenging than I had anticipated, but the breathtaking views made it all worth it.

A must have experience for your trip! To start, you are in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Small class size (10 people) allows the instructor Sam to familiarize with everybody as well as communication between each other. Was impressed with the class’ diversity with country of origin. Plenty knowledge shared from Sam and laughs had with one another. Feel good knowing the leftover kimchi you make goes directly to impoverished citizens. But you also get to taste your own creation on its own as well, plus cooking pancake with aged kimchi complimented with pork and tofu.
