We took almost 3 hours to arrive the 1st destination due to traffic jam on the highway. However, we truly enjoyed the Mount Omuro & the view of Mount Fuji. We visiting the Zoo as well. Riding on the Sight seeing Black train, find the special seat car 1, enjoyed the scenery of the coaster line make us so relax. Lastly, visiting the suspended bridge is so amazing due to good weather.

The tour guide and driver for this trip was Andy, and he managed the time very well. While he wasn't the type to enthusiastically introduce history and culture on the bus, his calm demeanor allowed me to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. As for the Izu sightseeing spots, whether it was the mountains or the coast, most of them were great, beautiful, and dependent on luck (weather). The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the tourist train. Most of the route goes through tunnels, and the time when beautiful sea views are visible from the window is actually quite short, so I personally don't think it's very worthwhile. If there's a next time, I wouldn't choose a tour with a tourist train. Sharing my experience for your reference!

The places we went were quite far from Tokyo and not easy to get a private charter but they have been very helpful in discussing and finding a driver who will take us. on that day, traffic was not the best but Jeff, our driver, was vety patient and considerate. Taking care of us at each stop, Jeff ensured we don’t lose our way aswe walked around by giving us clear recommendations. Happy with the tour and will definitely book again with the same vendor.

This day trip to Izu is packed with activities, making it perfect for travelers who want to experience Izu's natural scenery and unique culture in a short amount of time.
Trip Highlights and Impressions:
1. Mt. Omuro and Cactus Animal Park: The quintessential Izu combination. Take a cable car up to the crater of Mt. Omuro for a 360-degree view of Sagami Bay and Mt. Fuji. The magnificent expanse of sea and sky is truly refreshing. Following that, visit the Cactus Animal Park. In addition to the diverse plants, the most soothing experience is watching capybaras soaking in hot springs – the warmest scene in winter.
2. Izu Kyuko Seaside Train: The itinerary specifically selected the "Resort 21" train, which has seats facing the ocean, making the train ride more than just transportation; it's a visual feast that allows you to easily admire Izu's magnificent coastline.
3. Jogasaki Coast and Kadowaki Suspension Bridge: Here, you can see the rugged volcanic rock charm of Izu. Standing on the suspension bridge and feeling the powerful waves crashing against the reefs is visually stunning and makes for an excellent photo spot.

Yoyo was our Tour Guide. We enjoyed the Scenary and fresh air. Unfortunately it was a long weekend so many locals also visited the Sites like Omuro and traffic was heavy to Omuro/ Ito City and back to Shinjuku. In general Yoko handled the situation and reminded tourist to be on time and assisted in making the tour experience smooth. Our Driver was an experienced Chinese man who knew the roads pretty well. He took short cuts to skip some roads with heavy traffic so we can get back to Shinjuku sooner than later. Thank you

Today’s weather was perfect for the trip. Our guide, Carter Sasaki, was really enthusiastic. We spent most of our time on the road as the distance to our destination was far, but he kept the atmosphere lively and was sharing about Japan culture. He helped to take good photos too. Wish we had more time to spend at Mt Omuro though. It was an amazing place with breathtaking views. It was definitely the highlight of this trip. Second was the beautiful Jogasaki Coast. The trip went smoothly and we managed to cover every spot planned in the itinerary.
