Things to do in Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and Worth the Visit The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The architecture, grand rooms, intricate details, and history are all very impressive. We walked through the palace at our own pace and really enjoyed the experience. We used the tour operator simply to secure our tickets, and the process was smooth and convenient. Access was straightforward, and we had no issues. A must-see when visiting Madrid and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

The works of this Spanish artist are truly amazing, with over 1,000 pieces on display. We spent almost an entire day admiring them. If you appreciate oil paintings, you'll definitely want to stay longer. Please note, however, that photography is not allowed inside the museum. Remember to bring your own drinking water, as none is provided. There is a cafe on-site where you can eat, drink, or grab a beverage during your visit. The security staff are friendly and can guide you through the various exhibition halls. Oh, and there's also a photo zone nearby! Don't forget to explore the museum thoroughly. Purchasing tickets through the Coca-Cola system is very convenient; there's no need to wait in line, just show your ticket to the staff.

The place is very big and nice. We were able to visit all the places in the stadium, from the trophies, to the players locker room, to the stadium. We had lots of souvenir pictures and were able to buy souvenir items. Thank you.

Nice and intimate setting—we’re very close to the stage, so the experience feels personal and immersive. The flamenco was absolutely amazing.

One of the highlights of my trip. The class was fun! Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

A must-see landmark in Madrid. While it’s a quick visit, the atmosphere, history, and welcoming people make it memorable.

Paula was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made us feel so comfortable and natural during the shoot, and her attention to detail was incredible. Every photo came out beautiful — she captured genuine moments, emotions, and memories perfectly. Her professionalism, creativity, and warm personality made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. You can truly tell she’s passionate about photography and cares deeply about her clients. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, patient, and delivers stunning results, I highly recommend Paula. We couldn’t be happier with our photos and will definitely book her again!

quick and simple way to see main spots and building for Madrid. Tour guides are friendly and their introduction is clear and helpful

The museum itself is very new and clean, with spacious corridors that make for a comfortable visit. Some exhibition rooms have chairs, so you can sit and rest if you get tired. The tour guide was very professional, arriving early to wait for us, and was very friendly and humorous. Their explanations were lively, often involving animated gestures and a loud voice (they even got told off by the museum staff for being too loud 😂), like telling a story to children, which was very entertaining. They were also very familiar with the museum's layout, ensuring no repeated routes. The entire guided tour lasted over two hours, and I myself stayed for another two hours (and still didn't see everything). If you want to explore thoroughly, you should plan for 3 to 5 hours, or even longer. After entering and clearing security, remember to pick up a tour brochure first; it will help you locate important works when you explore on your own.
