Today we explored southwest Jeju, and while the rain and strong wind meant we couldn’t take many beautiful photos, we gained something far more valuable. Sam shared touching stories and insights that let us truly feel the soul of Jeju. He told us about the island’s three main features, and the wind certainly lived up to its reputation! Even with some sites closed, Sam never stopped smiling and did everything he could to make our day great. His kindness and dedication left a lasting impression. Thank you so much, Sam. We will carry this memory with us and hope to come back to Jeju and see you again.

Today’s southwest Jeju tour was an experience to remember, even under challenging weather conditions. Heavy rain and strong winds prevented us from visiting certain locations and capturing the landscape as we hoped. However, our guide Sam compensated for this with insightful, moving narratives about Jeju’s nature and culture. He explained that wind is one of the island’s defining characteristics, which we witnessed firsthand. Throughout, Sam remained professional, cheerful, and fully committed to our comfort and enjoyment. His dedication was outstanding. Thank you, Sam, for a wonderful tour. We look forward to returning.

We spent the day touring southwest Jeju, and what a day it was! The weather was not on our side—lots of rain and very strong wind, which Sam said is one of Jeju’s three signature features. We couldn’t take many pretty pictures, but listening to Sam’s stories made the experience so much richer. Even when places were closed or the wind was fierce, Sam stayed upbeat and looked after us perfectly. We left with wonderful memories in our hearts instead of just photos. Thank you, Sam! We’ll definitely come back to Jeju and hope to meet you again.

Steven Yanagi (Ryu) keep very good time schedule for the small group tour during each stop and offer good tips for each itinery so that we waste no time scratching our head. Good local knowledge and information. Humorous too in a very Korean way.

I've joined enough tours to know that not every guide is the same, and Chloe is definitely one of the better ones I've had. What stood out was that she wasn't just following a script or sticking blindly to the itinerary. Throughout the day she was paying attention to the weather, crowd levels, and timing, and making small adjustments so we could get the best experience possible. There were several moments where things just seemed to work out perfectly, and I got the feeling that wasn't by accident. It came from experience and knowing Jeju really well. A lot of what she did probably went unnoticed by most people because everything felt so smooth, but that's exactly what makes a great guide. She made sure we got the most out of every stop without making anything feel rushed. I would happily join another tour with her in the future.
