It was a long drive from Kaohsiung but it was smooth and comfortable. The guide, Mr Charlie was also very informative and gave us some “photography lesson” while walking around the forest. The tour was informative and enjoyable at the same time.

If you’re planning a day tour in Taichung, I would definitely recommend booking this tour. The itinerary is well planned, and the tour guide is very accommodating. Our guide, Karen, made the experience even more enjoyable—she is very knowledgeable about her country and shared interesting background and history at every place we visited. She even had a cute Ninja Turtle stuffed toy, which made it easy (and fun!) to spot her in the crowd.

First of all, a big thank you to our tour guide Mr. Ken today! Mr. Ken is professional, humorous, and funny, and his time management was excellent. Because it was drizzling and foggy today, he suggested switching the itinerary and going to the farm in the morning and Sun Moon Lake in the afternoon. Unexpectedly, Sun Moon Lake was indeed closed in the morning due to fog! Thank you, Mr. Ken, for saving our trip. Mr. Ken's driving skills are excellent, and we didn't feel car sick or dizzy on the bus. Along the way, he kept explaining the roadside scenery and local culture and stories in a very interesting way. He also reminded us which local specialties were worth buying and recommended delicious and affordable restaurants for us to eat at. Mr. Ken even collected the leftover bones from our meals to feed the dogs on the downhill road. He's a very, very kind and funny tour guide! Although the weather wasn't great, the day's itinerary was very fulfilling and enjoyable. If I come to Sun Moon Lake a second time, I will choose Mr. Ken as my tour guide again. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic 5.0
I joined this Alishan day trip yesterday and it’s just the start of my vacation in Taiwan but it’s honestly already my favorite day already. The views were crazy wonderful.
We made multiple stops, even at side lines for random pretty flowers and didn’t feel rushed. Our tour guide Yang 小暘(RFL-7577) was nice and patient. He even offered to take photos for us several times. He kept pointing out the sea of clouds for us and made sure we didn’t miss the views. Also, I was a few minutes late to the start/meeting point and he was very understanding and waited.
Fenqihu and Alishan Forest were both beautiful, the train ride, the giant trees, the scenery, everything was worth it. Visiting the temple was also interesting. We got to see foggy mountains too, which looked amazing. The guide said it wasn’t even the foggiest it can get, but we were lucky because the weather had a nice balance of sun and light for good views.
Overall, really nice trip. I was very happy I joined.

it brings me back to my childhood memories. I would have imagined that I will be able to visit this place that before I only watched on the television. now I can literally experience where the F4 spot scene was filmed. very nostalgic. this is one of the highlights of our trip here in Taiwan. and especially thanks to our tour guide Allan Lai. he’s not only a tour guide but also a great photographer too. all the photos I will share here taken by him. very professional tour guide and photographer. 👏

Fantastic 5.0
This tour is easy enough that you can return on time even if you only understand Chinese numbers. It's a shame you can't understand the location descriptions, but it doesn't have a big impact on the tour itself. I didn't want to go to Rainbow Village, so I applied for the Chinese tour on Klook, and they picked me up from the hotel on time, and provided simple guidance using Papago for Korean translation. They also took pictures for me and I could receive restaurant information in the group Line chat. It was more convenient because the guide sent the photos via KakaoTalk. The weather was disappointing due to rain and clouds, but I would like to try again if I come to Taichung again. Umbrellas and water were prepared in the car, so I didn't have to bring them separately. However, if you speak Chinese, take the back seat of the 9-seater van as the front seat hurts your legs and back. There is much more space. Even if the departure is not confirmed on the Klook date, it seemed like they combined it with reservations from other sites for transportation. Please keep this in mind when booking. I recommend it for its cost-effectiveness and ease of transportation!
