Tour guide: When planning the trip, I inquired with several travel companies, specifically asking if they had female guides. Klook recommended Sister Mei to us, saying that customers who had been with her thought she was exceptionally good. So, after comparing several options, we embarked on a five-day, four-night journey with Sister Mei as our driver. Unexpectedly, Sister Mei turned out to be a fantastic guide – patient, meticulous, conscientious, and responsible. She took everyone's feelings into account and took care of us without us having to say much. Sister Mei thoughtfully prepared fruits, snacks, and local delicacies for us. She never rushed us, cared about whether we were warm enough, and demonstrated excellent driving skills on difficult roads. I knew choosing a female driver and female guide wouldn't be a mistake!

Just got back and couldn't wait to write a review! This trip from Shangri-La to Meili Snow Mountain definitely deserves five stars, and every star is well-deserved! We stayed at the Songtsam Linka Hotel in Shangri-La, and the hotel has its own guide who led us on a tour of the Songzanlin Monastery. It's especially nice to go in the morning when there are few people, making it particularly quiet and solemn. I instantly felt my heart calm down. To see Meili Snow Mountain, we stayed at a hotel right at Wunongding. The hotel windows face directly towards Meili Snow Mountain, and there are free Tibetan costumes to wear. The next morning, we watched from the hotel as the snowy peaks began to turn golden, eventually becoming a "golden mountain"... that feeling is indescribable in words. It made all the bumps along the way worthwhile. The hotel is also very considerate, with floor heating and oxygen equipment. Those worried about altitude sickness can rest assured, and the staff is always smiling. After returning to Shangri-La, we stayed at the Dala Ranch, which has four adorable golden retrievers. When I opened the door in the morning and called out, they all rushed to the door begging to be petted. Who understands this QAQ Finally, I want to especially praise our driver! Xin Xin is truly a treasure on this trip! He drives very steadily, and even though Yunnan has many mountain roads, his skills are undeniable. We felt very safe with him. He also took us to eat delicious Nixi clay pot chicken. The scenery on this trip is beyond words (I want to come again in the summer!), and the experience was even more amazing. It wasn't like being on a rushed tour group; it was truly relaxing, enjoyable, and allowed us to deeply experience the local culture.

Our first time working with Klook was a very smooth experience. Since we were traveling with two 80-year-olds, we had many things to consider, especially since their knees weren't in great shape and we needed to avoid too many stairs. During the itinerary planning, Jiajia patiently optimized the design based on our needs until we were completely satisfied. Our driver, Xiao Zhao, proactively helped us take care of the elders during the tour, slowing down and adjusting the pace to accommodate their physical condition. He recommended delicious and cost-effective food, saving us the trouble of researching food guides. He was very trustworthy. In just a few days, we felt like family. I highly recommend finding Xiao Zhao if you come to Tengchong. He's handsome, kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to answer questions. He is very considerate of his guests and makes you feel right at home.

This tour experience was a perfect 10/10! Our guide and driver, Xiao Hu (Hu Jingjing), was incredibly responsible, enthusiastic, and generous. She even greeted me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers upon arrival. At each attraction, she provided detailed and engaging explanations, giving us a deeper understanding of the local history, culture, and customs. The transportation was also very smooth, and her excellent driving skills ensured our safety. The travel agency's itinerary was well-planned and comprehensive, covering both famous hotspots and unique, lesser-known gems. They also arranged special performances, allowing us to fully appreciate the destination's diverse appeal. The food and accommodations were also quite satisfactory, with clean and comfortable hotels in convenient locations, including a stay at a popular, highly-rated "网红" (internet-famous) hotel 🏨. My friend and I had this roadtrip in the 4th week of November 2025. It was one of the most amazing roadtrips I ever had. We don't even speak Chinese, but brother Cola made it smooth even with the translator app. He is attentive and also good at taking photos. We visited all the places mentioned in the Klook itinerary and also stopped at some viewing platforms along the way. Even play with the snow while taking a break from driving. As for meals, all lunches and dinners were at our own expense, while breakfasts were in the hotel restaurant, a tea/coffee in HalfWay cafe was included. Since it's the 2 of us, brother Cola picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel instead of a random location. The itinerary planner person will let us know the weather, temperature and destination the night before. They will also adjust the plan depending on the situation. However, the executioner is brother Cola, and he will make sure the experience is top-notch. We also love his car! Highly recommended!

This trip exceeded our expectations; both adults and kids had a fantastic time! The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the facilities like the washing machine were super convenient. The itinerary was well-planned! We were very fortunate to have Mr. Tan as our driver. His driving skills were smooth, and his route planning was excellent. We were originally scheduled for the rainforest hike on the 7th, but thanks to Mr. Tan, who checked the weather forecast and saw that it would rain heavily on the 7th, he suggested and helped us move the hike to the 6th. The kids had a blast, and sure enough, the hiking activity was canceled on the 7th and 8th due to rain! Mr. Tan explained the various attractions and shared interesting cultural facts along the way. He also helped us with our luggage, umbrellas, replenished our drinking water, and even helped take care of the children, becoming good friends with them! Thank you, Mr. Tan! Thank you, Klook! We will definitely choose you again next time!

Solo traveling has a lot of limitations, so booking this tour was really great value for the money. Since there wasn't a tour guide, the driver and master were local Naxi people who took this group of a few people and introduced the scenery and customs of Lijiang and Shangri-La along the way. His driving skills were truly first-class, safe and stable 👍🏻. The itinerary was rich but not too tiring, with enough time for us to slowly acclimatize to the high altitude. I would join again next time I come to Yunnan 👍🏻.

We had a wonderful vacation here, deeply captivated by the city's beautiful scenery and history. Our accommodations were very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to visit again.

I was very satisfied with my end-of-year relaxing trip. The hotel service was also good, and the stay was very comfortable. Tengchong's slow pace of life is addictive—drinking tea on the balcony of the guesthouse in the morning, watching the mist surrounding Yunfeng Mountain, daydreaming in the Heshun Library in the evening, and finding a small restaurant to order a hot pot or local home-style dishes that are delicious and inexpensive at dusk. Life really slowed down. The KLOOK staff and driver were very professional, responded to messages quickly, and had a great attitude. The driver was a very nice lady, very patient, and gave great introductions. She explained the local delicacies, customs, etc. in detail, and she would arrive at the hotel early every day to wait, making us feel very safe along the way. Over the course of a few days, all the essential local attractions were arranged, and there were also hiking activities. The content was rich, and the itinerary was relaxed and well-paced. It was a great trip. I didn't get enough, and I will consider living in Tengchong for a long time in the future. The climate is really great.
