Yunnan Multi-day tours

We planned about 30% of our Yunnan trip on our own and booked this tour for the rest of our journey from Dali to Lijiang and Shangri-La. Our tour advisor, Sally, was incredibly patient, and responsive. She answered all of our questions before the trip, and two days before departure we were added to a WeChat group with Sally and our driver, which made communication very easy throughout the trip. A special thank you to our driver, Mr. He Guo Zheng, who truly made our journey even more enjoyable. He was always punctual and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The scenery throughout the trip was absolutely breathtaking. Every destination had something unique to offer, from majestic mountains and peaceful lakes to charming old towns.

Our driver made our Yunnan trip absolutely exceptional. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the journey, always patient and attentive to our needs. Beyond just driving, he gave us fantastic recommendations for places to visit that weren't in any guidebook including introducing the historical context. He also went the extra mile by checking weather conditions daily with his fellow drivers, and based on that, he proactively advised itinerary changes to make sure we caught the best scenic views at the right time.. He was also very proactive about advising us on how to prepare for the 4000m high altitude, which really helped us acclimatize comfortably. The biggest highlight was his flexibility—when he realized our train departure on the last day was much earlier, he reworked our itinerary on the spot so we could still enjoy a full morning without any stress. Reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind—we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend!"

I think I was extremely fortunate to join this tour. If you want to experience the wonders of northern Yunnan, including trekking along Hutiaoxia (tiger leaping gorge), marvelous Shangrila temples, golden dawn of Meili mountain, this is the must-go trip. I have travelled Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Luoyang, Dongbei region, Xiamen and Quanzhou, even Xinjiang, this was the best trip so far in China. I am also very grateful to the tour organizer for arranging very nice hotels with limited budget. I was able to communicate with the guide with my limited Chinese, so it is better to make sure you are accompanying with an English speaking guide or tour participants ahead of time. But I think if you have a wechat account, you will be able to communicate with the guide anyhow. Thank you Yang Shifu！

Would recommend this tour if one requires a convenient and worry-free tour to see the beautiful sights between Lijiang and Shangri-La! 国国师傅 was determined to help us catch the Meili snow mountain views, letting us off at a viewpoint on day 1 to catch it and recommending places near our hotel for us to catch it agai, with sunrise, on day 2.

This trip was very enjoyable, and we'd like to extend a special thank you to our driver. The hotels he arranged for us were comfortable and conveniently located, making the entire journey much more relaxed and smooth. What's even more commendable is his flexibility in adjusting the itinerary based on actual circumstances, promptly handling any changes to ensure our travel experience remained consistently excellent. Furthermore, he was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. He not only provided us with a lot of help during the trip but also filled the entire journey with joy and warmth. We had an unforgettable travel experience.

We booked for 3 pax for April 2026. 7 others joined us to make up the group. Itenery covered as mentioned with sufficient free time given to explore the places we visited. Klook handled the picking up from the Train Station on Arrival to sending us to the Airport for Departure, promptly and timely at our schedule. Kudos. In this respect, hats off to the coordinator Winnie (小小舟) for doing the planning work for us. She had patience and guided us along from the point we made contact, enquired about packages, the details in between, to our booking, arrival and departure effortlessly. For the tour, we travelled on the same vehicle throughout our journey. For the first 3 days of the tour, we had an amicable and pleasant guide with the name 杨雪梅. We knew at once she had passion for this job. Thanks for the great photos & good angles despite the crowds and also information that helped us appreciate our tour better. The next 3 days, Maka was our guide. He was loud but respectful & helpful.

The four-day, three-night trip to Yubeng was tiring but fulfilling. The first night was in Feilai Temple, and we had good weather, saw the starry sky, and were lucky enough to see the sun shining on Meili Snow Mountain. In the three days in Yubeng, we walked nearly 40km. Here I want to thank the guide, Zhaxi, for his leadership and encouragement, which helped me and my partner persevere. Yubeng Village is indeed beautiful and worth the trip. Maybe I will come again in the future.

The tourguide is very professional. Arrived at the meeting point before the meeting time. The transport throughout the journey was very spacious & comfortable. The inter city transport involved the High Speed train. The tour company booked a suitable & comfort seat throughout the HSR journey from Kunming to Dali, then from Lijiang back to Kunming. The hotels that were booked by the tour company are also very comfortable and near to the attraction point. In summary, the, i would rate it 9.0 out of 10.
