Things to do in Gangwon

The instructions were to go and to collect the tickets where easy to understand. the rail park is away from soul would beautiful scenic roots and it's not too difficult to bike. includes the biking root themed tunnels romantic train and a shuttle back. you pay per bike so the amount of people match what is needed. We loved it.

We had a great tour of Alpaca World, Nami Island, and the Garden of Morning Calm. Thank you to our guide, Sharon, for being friendly and patient. We had enough free time to explore each stop without feeling rushed.

We had an amazing time exploring the alpaca world, enjoying the Gangchon Rail Bike, and visiting Nami Island, all thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Mina! She was incredibly informative and insightful throughout the trip. She shared interesting facts, stories, and background about each destination, giving us a deeper appreciation of the places we visited rather than simply showing us around. Her knowledge and passion made the tour both educational and enjoyable. She was also friendly, patient, and attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. From the adorable alpacas to the scenic rail bike experience and the beautiful landscapes of Nami Island, Mina made every stop even more memorable with her thoughtful explanations and local insights.

Henry was our tour guide for the DMZ tour. He is super friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about North and South Korea history. Be prepared to get your exercise on as there is uphill climbing but it was worth it!

Dragon Kim was our guide with Korea Tours, the trip was spectacular, super punctual and attentive. They even contact you a day in advance to start planning the tour dynamics. He was very kind, very charismatic, gave us some delicious candies, explained everything very well, and followed the rules exactly according to the DMZ protocol. 100% recommended. The trip was value for money — from the colorful flowers in Garden of Morning Calm to pedalling at Gangchon Rail Park to exploring Nami Island. It was very chilly though. We also had a nice tour guide, Miss Hwa.

ease of booking on Klook: no need to collect ticket, just scan klook QR code for entry. Nami island is must visit during autumn as it extremely picturesque. Wonderful weather and good beautiful island nation.

The Legoland Hotel is beautiful, with many great spots for photos. The rooms have Legos for kids to play with, Lego movies to watch, and even a treasure hunt game. After completing it, they receive a Lego gift. You can also see fireworks from the room (a big plus!), which made the kids very happy. The hotel also has many areas for building Legos, a playground, a swimming pool, and a Lego party in the evening. The theme park is right next to the hotel, so the kids had a fantastic time.

Easy redemption, changed physical tickets at the ticket booth. Alpaca World itself was quite fun, provably would recommend 2.5-3 hours with younger children. There’s multiple areas with vending machines for feeds so don’t forget to buy pacacoins!
