This time, I brought my family to Takamatsu, and to easily explore the surrounding attractions, we opted for a private car day tour. This was absolutely the best decision of the entire trip! 🚗 Professional and Warm Local Guide First, I must highly commend our driver! Her service was incredibly professional and attentive. Not only did she drive smoothly the entire way, but she also introduced us to Takamatsu's attractions and local customs like a local friend. What I'm most grateful for is that, based on the day's pace, she specifically recommended we visit **"Zentsu-ji Temple."** This wasn't in our original plan, but she guaranteed it was worth a visit based on her professional experience, and it truly amazed us. It perfectly demonstrated the advantage of flexible adjustments in a private car tour. 📍 Today's Itinerary Highlights First Stop: Slowpoke Park If you're a Pokémon fan or traveling with kids, this place is paradise! There are adorable Slowpoke facilities everywhere, colorful and perfect for photos. This first stop put everyone in a great mood. Second Stop: Konpira-san (Kotohira-gu Shrine) A must-visit shrine in Kagawa, a place you "must visit at least once in your lifetime." Although it requires climbing thousands of stone steps, the shopping street along the way is great for browsing. After reaching the observation deck and overlooking the vast Sanuki Plain, all the effort was worth it! Third Stop: Zentsu-ji Temple (Driver's Top Recommendation!) This is the birthplace of Kobo Daishi, with magnificent architecture and a solemn, peaceful atmosphere. Compared to the bustling Konpira-san, this place offered a sense of tranquility. Walking through the temple, I felt both my body and mind calm down. I'm truly thankful for the driver's insightful suggestion. Fourth Stop: Shikokumura Village The last stop was this place rich in history. The park relocated old folk houses from various parts of Shikoku and even has a miniature "Kazura Bridge" for visitors to experience. Strolling and admiring the ancient buildings felt like traveling through time, providing a perfect end to the day's itinerary. 💡 Summary of Experience We visited four attractions this day, and although the itinerary was packed, we didn't feel tired at all. Thanks to the driver's thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service and professional explanations, we avoided the anxiety of transferring and waiting for transportation, allowing us to fully enjoy each attraction.
A very good experience that made our day happy. Although the Naruto Whirlpool boat service was suspended due to the weather, they took us to other attractions and introduced us to the local lunch that only locals eat. They also helped us take group photos, and my family members were very happy and at ease. I would charter a car tour again next time if I have the opportunity. I will also recommend this tour to my friends.
Ms. Liu was very courteous, and thoughtfully provided a child's chair and cookies for the children. She also kindly prepared tea for us. The journey was very pleasant, and she shared a lot of interesting facts about Japan! Overall, we were very satisfied with the trip!

We met a driver who could speak Chinese, which was great for us and communication was barrier-free. His driving skills were stable, and he introduced us in detail along the way. The meals he introduced were also great and cheap.

Vehicle types: Comfort 5-seater (including infants/toddlers) (can carry 3 passengers + 2 pieces of 26-inch luggage)

Business 10-seater (including infants/toddlers) (can carry 9 passengers + 8 pieces of 26-inch luggage)
Note: Infants and children will be counted as passengers. Standard luggage size: 24-28 inches. If you have oversized luggage or a stroller, please inform us in advance. Large luggage will be counted as 2 pieces of luggage. Overload risk: If you have a lot of luggage or large luggage, it is recommended to book a suitable vehicle type to accommodate all luggage. Any additional costs incurred due to not following the recommended reasonable number of passengers and luggage capacity for the vehicle type will be borne by the traveler. - Child seats are not mandatory. If needed, please reserve in advance. The supplier can provide 1 child seat for free. A child seat occupies 1.5 person spaces and may affect passenger or luggage capacity. Please confirm in advance. Additional child seats require an extra fee of JPY 2000/seat/day. For more than two child seats, please confirm with customer service.
- The total duration of the charter service is 8 hours. Pick-up and drop-off points are hotels or guesthouses within Takamatsu city (for pick-up/drop-off in different locations, the driver may need to reserve empty driving time or additional fees may apply based on actual circumstances). The service is available from 08:00 - 20:00. It is recommended to arrange your departure time reasonably to fully enjoy the attractions.
- Empty car fee: For departures or endings in different locations, there may be a price difference. If this occurs, customer service will reconfirm with you after you place the order.
- Please be sure to leave your LINE ID, WhatsApp, or WeChat number when ordering (after leaving it, please enable the "add friend" setting so that local staff in Japan can contact you in time).
- After placing an order, you can see the customer service contact information on the platform. Please add it in time to facilitate communication regarding itinerary and vehicle arrangements. The supplier will send you driver information 1 day before departure (at the latest 3 hours before vehicle use). Please pay attention. Please wait in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the driver arrives for pick-up.
- If the actual vehicle usage exceeds the service time or journey distance, an overtime fee/excess mileage fee will be charged.
- If the total journey exceeds 250 kilometers, JPY 300/kilometer will be charged.
- For consecutive guests who stay in a city outside Takamatsu, an additional accommodation fee of JPY 8000 will be subsidized for the driver.
- Overtime rental due to traffic congestion, regardless of natural causes or traffic control, will still incur an additional charge. Important reminder: Please provide correct contact information to facilitate communication with the supplier.
