Qingjing Farm and Gaomei Wetlands Tour From Taichung (Hotel Pick Up)

It was a fun experience to be in nature. We initially planned to DIY this tour but good thing we availed this. Both locations were actually far from each other. Like 2 hours travel time. The transfer was comfortable and we’re given enough time to explore the attraction. Unfortunately, there was no sunset during our trip.

our tour guide KEN, was really helpful in bringing us to and fro the places! he even offered to stop if anyone felt unwell during the journey. he also took really nice photos of my group and I which captured the background really well! he also brought us to an amazing chicken place, which kept our tummies filled for almost the whole day. overall, he was very helpful in providing assistance, including providing information on the dos and donts of the place, and providing excellent food and place recommendations. despite a language barrier between my friends and him, he did his best in throwing in a few English words at times for them to understand better. additionally, he offered to drop us off at a different drop off point upon request without extra cost! would highly recommend him to others!

This trip was led by our driver, A-Ping, who was punctual and very chatty. He introduced various attractions in Taichung along the way. The weather was great in the morning, and the scenery at Cingjing Farm was beautiful! A couple of sheep would even come right up to you. The equestrian show was also fantastic (but be aware that the sheep show is not held on weekdays, which was a shame). Lunch was an individual choice; some other members and I chose a set meal to share. Afterwards, because we had enough time, we also went to Wuqi Fisherman's Wharf before heading to Gaomei Wetlands. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good that day, so we couldn't see the beautiful sunset. Finally, the driver recommended the Hanxi Night Market and even took us there, which was well worth visiting!!

Due to insufficient participants, the original Qingjing Farm + Gaomei Wetlands tour was canceled. The travel agency arranged an alternative one-day tour of Sun Moon Lake + Qingjing Farm instead. The travel agency promised to contact Klook for a refund of the price difference (refund pending). Our driver and tour guide, Mr. Ken, was very punctual and drove very safely. He enthusiastically helped us take many beautiful photos, explained the sights along the way, and even took us to sample local famous snacks. We are very grateful to Mr. Ken!! 👍 The equestrian show at Qingjing Farm is fantastic and should not be missed! 👍

The tour guide was very kind and lovely. She recommended delicious roast chicken, which was great value for money. The cherry blossoms were incredibly beautiful, and the entire trip was delightful. We were smiling from start to finish. The guide was also very patient in explaining important details to us. She's a wonderful guide. I hope to join another one of her tours if I have the chance.

葛葛 is super funny and personable. His professionalism and knowledge shone throughout the tour. He is also a superb photographer so remember to make full use of his wide range of talents! Made a bunch of new friends. Had loads of fun on this tour will definitely book from klook again!

Highly recommend this day tour! Our guide and driver, Andy, was very nice and never rushed us, allowing us to leisurely take photos with the sheep. He also stopped at certain scenic spots along the way to tell us about them, which was very thoughtful. He even had a large umbrella ready when it rained, and his photography skills were excellent. His driving was smooth, so we didn't get carsick at all. Gaomei Wetlands are truly beautiful, though it was a bit windy!

The trip was very long and a bit tiring, but the beautiful scenery was worth it. Our group's driver, Ken, was extremely enthusiastic. Although he guided in Chinese, he still tried to guide others in English through Google Translate. I can't speak Chinese well, but he spoke slowly so I could practice listening 🤣, and in the afternoon, he even helped take me to Fengjia night market, 7km away from where I was staying. Beautiful memories, I want to come back to Taiwan again.

Our guide, Ah Ping was very friendly, warm and caring. He made the tour really enjoyable! Cingjing farm is something not to be missed. The views were so beautiful and the sheep were adorable. We got to experience very strong winds for the first time at Gaomei wetlands. We walked down to the mudflats and saw some cute crabs. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day and so we could not see the sunset. Also we felt dizzy and had a headache after being blown by the wind for 1h+ but the guide did warn us about it! Haha. If that is not your thing then you can take shelter in the guide’s van. Overall a great experience!

A fulfilling but not tiring day tour! Our guide and driver, Duncan, was very professional in his explanations and enthusiastically took photos for the group members. His service attitude was excellent 🥰. Lunch was the designated roast chicken meal, which was delicious~
