Buffet night done right at The Astor, Eaton Hotel 🍽️✨ Honestly exceeded my expectations—from the wide variety of dishes to the freshness of the seafood 🦪🦀 everything was on point. Loved the oysters and crab legs (super fresh and constantly refilled!), and the hot food selection was just as impressive—great mix of Western and Asian options. The roast meats and made-to-order noodles were definite highlights 🤍 And of course, had to save room for desserts 🍰🍦 beautifully presented and not overly sweet—perfect ending to the meal. Service was attentive, the environment was comfortable, and overall it felt like amazing value for money 🙌 Definitely a spot I’d come back to again!
Birthday feast! 🎂🥰🥰 I saw a Klook offer and decided to try it, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The restaurant strategically places food stations in different corners, so guests don't have to crowd together to get food. This setup makes it convenient for various guests to choose their dishes. There's a wide selection of food, and besides the popular hot and cold dishes, my favorite and a standout feature is that the restaurant uses stainless steel bowls with ice to keep seafood fresh until it's eaten. 👍👍👍 The oysters were very fresh, and the king crab, bread crab, whelks, prawns, clams, and mussels were all very yummy! 😋 At 7:30, the kitchen prepares special dishes; each person gets two pieces of Peking duck, which were incredibly crispy and delicious. I also want to mention that upon entry, the restaurant provides each guest with a grilled lobster and a token to play the claw machine. It's fun and a chill dining experience! 😎
The Astor offers an unparalleled buffet experience that masterfully blends nostalgic Hong Kong charm with a modern, vibrant atmosphere. What sets this establishment apart is its commitment to variety and quality across its seven distinct live cooking stations. From the premium sashimi to the expertly roasted meats, every dish reflects a high standard of culinary craftsmanship. The open-kitchen concept creates an engaging energy, allowing diners to witness the theatrical preparation of their meal. Beyond the savory selections, the dessert section is a true highlight, featuring an array of delicate pastries and inventive sweets that provide a perfect conclusion to the feast. The service is consistently attentive and welcoming, ensuring that the sprawling space feels intimate and well-managed.
very gd Korean theme Buffet... not expensive foods but all of them r quite delicious... only disappointed at the oysters and their so called Michelin cha siu... the oysters r not fresh and the cha siu s so chewy... overall 8.5 out of 10...
The food quality is excellent, especially the cold seafood, oysters, and sashimi, which are very fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Each person gets a cheese-baked lobster. The roast beef is tasty, and they rotate different cuts, plus there's beef Wellington. The Chinese hot dishes include Peking duck, steamed fish, and char siu, all delicious. During Christmas, each table gets a large chocolate ball dessert, accompanied by a small hammer to break it open, revealing a Santa Claus lemon pie 🎅🏻, full of ritual! The staff are attentive and courteous, even teaching us how to hold the dessert to take nice photos. I'm most afraid of being ripped off when eating out during holidays and the food not being good, but I'm very satisfied with the Christmas dinner at Eaton Hotel and will definitely come again next time.
Many varieties of foods was served and special beverage for you to choose from the water bar area. Everyone can redeemed a miso sauce lobsters by showing their little cute lobster toy (shows on the picture) which distributed by the staff from the restaurant.
Choices of food are generous. From time to time there are special, limited dishes for customers to grab, such as Peking Duck, ice-cream cake, smoked salmon, and so on. The seafood and ice-cream stores are among my favourite. Would definitely come again in the future.
This was my first time at The Peninsula's Felix Restaurant, and I felt the staff service was top-notch. Everyone was very polite and quick to clear plates. The seating was comfortable, and the food was great. The oysters were fresh and sufficiently chilled; because they were serving cold seafood, the sashimi was presented on a bed of ice to maintain the temperature, which enhanced the texture of the seafood and oysters. The lamb chops, one per person, were excellent, and the steak was also good. Among the roasted meats, the soy sauce chicken was the most delicious, with a subtle soy sauce fragrance. The roast duck and char siu were also good. There was a wide selection of ice cream, with seven or eight flavors. The old cucumber soup was delicious. In the middle of the meal, a bell rang, calling everyone to get black truffle pasta (truffles freshly shaved onto the pasta), which was very special. Overall, with the buy-one-get-one-free offer, it was excellent value for money and I would definitely come again!
This was my first time having the lunch buffet at the Eaton HK hotel's buffet restaurant. I booked through Klook and got a buy-one-get-one-free deal, which made it a great value. The restaurant's decor has a nostalgic atmosphere, and the staff are courteous. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn't evenly distributed; the area where my friend and I were seated was rather dark, making it less convenient for taking photos. Also, the food stations were quite spread out and far apart, making it a bit inconvenient to get food. Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday, I called ahead to request a birthday dessert with a birthday message, but the restaurant said there would be an extra charge. It would have been great if they could have provided this service for free! The lunch buffet includes all-you-can-eat New Zealand oysters, chilled snow crab legs, mussels, prawns, crayfish, and clams, etc. The refills were quite fast, and there was also sashimi, all of which was fresh and delicious. There was a wide variety of food options, including roasted meats, skewers, and fried foods, all of which tasted good. There were also many desserts and cakes, including tofu pudding, Movenpick ice cream, and even twelve flavors to choose from. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would come again next time.
oysters and the shrimp sashimi not v fresh with taste of bleach solution... other than that... the rest of them including all the hot dishes or desserts r exceptionally gd... highly recommended for the carnivorous whos not into seafood very much like me... will be even more better if they can add half an hr... coz 3hrs way too short!!!
