The afternoon tea set is priced at the higher end of Kuala Lumpur’s range. From the welcoming mocktail to the concluding coffee and tea, every detail of the service exudes attentiveness and refinement, making guests feel truly pampered. The price is paid for the “priceless view,” and that sentiment is hard to dispute. The desserts are thoughtfully crafted, offering layers of flavor that balance sweetness with savory and tangy notes—an artful harmony that prevents any sense of cloying richness.

The restaurant offered a fantastic view, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Twin Towers. We were lucky to get a window seat, but even if you're seated further inside, the large, open windows ensure you'll still enjoy the scenery. Each dish was authentic in both presentation and taste, allowing us to experience the Asian theme of our visit through both sight and flavor. Japan was likely represented by chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and daikon radish prepared in a miso dengaku style. The desserts were generally not too sweet and easy to eat. I particularly enjoyed how fragrant all the teas were, complementing both the savory items and the sweets. Overall, it was quite a substantial meal! It was definitely a good idea to skip lunch beforehand. I even saw some guests taking food to go. While I'd give it a 5-star rating and was very satisfied overall, one minor drawback was that the drinks took a while to arrive after ordering each time. As someone who likes to eat and drink simultaneously, this made it a bit difficult to maintain a steady pace. I also appreciated the relaxed and friendly Malaysian hospitality from the staff; despite being a 5-star hotel, it felt very comfortable and approachable.

Had an amazing afternoon tea experience at Grand Hyatt! The service was excellent…friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout. The food was an experience in itself, with beautifully presented savory bites and absolutely amazing desserts. Every item was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The breathtaking view of the Petronas Twin Towers made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable afternoon tea in Kuala Lumpur!

This place was great and I had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We couldn't finish our scones, and they were happy to pack them up for us to take home. I was so happy that they carefully boxed them up. I had also requested a window seat in advance, and they were able to seat us by the window that day (though it may have been a coincidence). I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity. I would also recommend it to others! Thank you for a fun time.

Nice atmospheres, we got the table with KLCC background. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and has nice variation. Overall it was an amazing afternoon celebrating my wife's birthday

Celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Grand Hyatt High Tea and had an amazing time! Service was on point. unlimited orders of teas and coffees. courses of savory and sweet treats. recommend communicating with them early to request a window table and go there early. service starts at noon. views were amazing! all of KL skyline right in front of you 👍

i highly recomment booking this. not only i got to seat infront of the tower (i ate there alone) the foods were very nice. the waiter was accomodating enough to offer to take a picture of me.

Didn’t expect the high tea here to be so good, pleasantly surprised! Managed to get a good seat with KLCC view. Really worth the money for a romantic date with good ambience.
