Aizuwakamatsu: Akabeko Painting Experience

By adding colors, you will complete a one-of-a-kind craft that lets you feel the warmth of handmade art. [Experience Aizu’s traditional crafts!] Aizu Machikata Denshokan exhibits and sells traditional crafts from the Aizu region. You can enjoy this along with the painting experience.

・Please feel free to enjoy painting the Akabeko. Squeeze the paint onto the palette and freely paint pictures with a brush. We have examples, but let’s draw your favorite pictures and make an original work. When it is hard to dry, we proceed with the work while drying it with a hairdryer. ・End of work Once the paint is dry, your one-of-a-kind, wobbling Akabeko is complete.
