Tokyo: Sushi Making Experience at a Real Sushi Counter in Tsukiji
New Activity
利っ喜ー
- Authentic setting: learn at a working sushi restaurant in Tsukiji, not a cooking studio
- Pro techniques: a chef who works the counter daily teaches rice shaping and fresh seafood placement
- Eat what you make: enjoy the 8–10 nigiri and sushi roll you made yourself, right at the counter
- Beginner-friendly: no experience needed, with English-speaking staff and small groups of 1-10
- Everything provided: all ingredients and equipment, plus miso soup and green tea
What to expect
Learn to make authentic sushi with a professional chef in the heart of Tsukiji, Tokyo’s famous food district!
At a traditional wooden sushi counter, the chef will first show you how to prepare fresh sushi rice, then demonstrate how to shape beautiful nigiri
Next, it’s your turn! Make your own sushi step by step with the chef’s guidance
No prior experience is needed, and our friendly staff provide English support throughout the experience, so everyone can participate with confidence
Once your sushi is ready, plate it up and enjoy the delicious creations you’ve made yourself
Don’t forget to take a group photo with the chef as a memorable souvenir!
