It was so interesting to be able to personally participate in making the very same Zen-dyed items that I used to buy as travel souvenirs. Gaining a deeper understanding of Kyoto's culture through this process was truly wonderful. I had previously experienced Nishijin-ori weaving once, and this experience was even better than the last. Furthermore, the service was impeccable—relaxed yet attentive, with many small details taken care of.
