Ginzan Onsen is beautiful, the foxes are adorable, and the tour guide was very proactive and enthusiastic in handling situations. Overall, thumbs up! 👍👍 A small suggestion, do the fox village before going to Ginzan Onsen. &The fox village staff doesn't seem to know what time it is. 🤣🤣🤣

Our tour guide, Mr. Nakajima, was enthusiastic and easy-going. We were lucky enough to encounter heavy snow at Ginzan Onsen, which was extremely beautiful, making the trip worthwhile. The Fox Village that followed seemed rather superfluous. A two-hour drive to see a den of foxes, the entire "valley" (breeding area) reeked, and the foxes weren't like typical pets that you could approach. The experience was uninteresting. However, the strong winds and snowstorms in between were a unique experience.

Although the journey was quite far, the itinerary's time arrangement was inappropriate. The time allotted for visiting Ginzan Onsen was too short, and we rushed through it, only having time to take pictures, go to the restroom, and buy some snacks. Although lunch was at our own expense, no time was set aside for us to enjoy lunch, and everyone bought snacks at the rest stop to stave off hunger. Luckily, I bought two rice balls in the morning. We arrived back in Sendai before 5:00 pm, and it felt like we had been robbed of time.
