Pick-up and drop-off locations within Taipei/New Taipei City urban areas. (Shilin Beitou, Tamsui, Banqiao and other administrative areas, additional fees will be charged for more remote areas. For details, please refer to the Surcharge Area Map
Din Tai Fung Set Meal Individual Dishes:
Din Tai Fung Basic Set Meal: Appetizer, Hot and Sour Soup, Stir-fried Seasonal Vegetables with Tofu Skin, Fried Rice with Shredded Pork and Egg, 5 Xiaolongbao, 1 Chicken Xiaolongbao, 1 Mushroom Steamed Dumpling, 1 Giant Grouper Steamed Dumpling, 1 Shrimp Siomai, Shrimp and Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, 1 Chocolate Xiaolongbao.
- This menu already includes a 10% service charge. The number of dim sum items will be allocated according to the number of people.
- For dining with 3 people or less, "Stir-fried Seasonal Vegetables with Tofu Skin" is not included in the set meal.
- For dining with 2 people or less, "Shrimp and Pork Wontons in Chili Oil" is not included in the set meal.

- According to Taiwan law, all children aged 0-4 must be secured in an approved child safety seat according to their size and age. It is recommended to reserve child seats in advance if you are traveling with children

- The maximum mileage per day is 150 kilometers. If the total mileage exceeds 1-20 kilometers, an additional TWD300 will be charged. If the total mileage exceeds 20-40 kilometers, an additional TWD600 will be charged.
- 1 - 4-person group (5-seater car): TWD300/30 minutes
- 1 - 8-person group (9-seater car): TWD350/30 minutes
- If the pick-up and drop-off locations are not listed above, please contact our customer service team
- If the pick-up or drop-off location is in a non-service area, a one-way surcharge will be charged; if both the pick-up and drop-off locations are in a non-service area, a round-trip surcharge will be charged (e.g., if the pick-up location is in Taipei City and the drop-off location is in Tamsui, only a one-way surcharge of TWD500 will be charged; if both the pick-up and drop-off locations are in Tamsui, a round-trip surcharge of TWD1,000 will be charged)
- Child seat/child booster seat: additional purchase price TWD 200/each, please inform us and pay on site (a 5-seater car can only accommodate 1 safety seat, if you need to place 2 safety seats, please book a 9-seater car)
- Night surcharge: If the charter is after 22:00, you need to pay TWD 1,000 on site
Chinese New Year Surcharge
During the 2026 Chinese New Year period (February 14 to February 22), each package will be subject to a surcharge of NT$2,500. During the Japanese New Year period (December 27, 2025 to January 5, 2026), Japanese packages will be subject to a surcharge of NT$2,000. Please pay the surcharge in cash to the driver on the day of service.
Din Tai Fung Meal Voucher Notes
- Please note: You must first book a charter service to purchase Din Tai Fung meal vouchers.
- The meal voucher does not include seat reservation service. Please present the voucher (paper version required) to the staff on-site, and they will arrange your seating. There may be a waiting time for seating. Your understanding is appreciated.
- Appetizers, fried rice, vegetables, and soup are shared dishes; the restaurant will adjust the serving size according to the number of sets.
- The number of people booked with meal vouchers must match the actual number of diners. According to restaurant regulations, if there are companions who have not purchased meal vouchers, they will not be seated together. (Children aged 0-1 are not subject to this restriction.)
- You can purchase meal vouchers for the day of your flight arrival, but please note that if you are unable to arrive at the restaurant during business hours due to traffic delays, the original cancellation policy will apply, and no refund will be provided. Please consider your itinerary time before booking.
- The business hours of each branch are subject to change without notice. It is recommended to confirm the relevant business hours before departure.
- The store may be temporarily closed due to disasters (including weather disasters such as typhoons). In this case, refunds will also not be possible. Thank you for your understanding.
- If the meal items are sold out, the restaurant will provide equivalent meal replacements.

We booked the 10 hour trip (9-seater car) and had Michael sha 佘安申 as our driver. We felt very safe and comfortable in his car throughout our trip. These were the locations we stopped by: Tiaoshi Coastal Bus Stop (Scenic Photo Stop), Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, and Shifen Old Street (Shifen Station). Michael went above and beyond as our driver. From the very beginning, he was professional, punctual, and incredibly kind. He provided us insight about each of the destination stops and offered to take our family photos at each location. His car is also well maintained with water in case someone gets dehydrated. This was our second 10-hour customised day trip with driver (楊昕穎) Yang Xinying. We had a great time together. Xinying is a very hardworking and warm young man who made the extra effort to ensure that my husband and I enjoyed our day. Besides diligently helping us to take photographs with our camera, he took our photographs with his camera to make a video for us. It was such a nice gesture, which we appreciated very much. Make sure to request for Xinying (‘singing’) as your driver!
Our driver Taipei (楊昕穎) Yang Xinying was fabulous. My husband and I enjoyed his company very much. His enthusiasm and easy-going nature truly enhanced our 10 hour customised day trip. Even though he didn’t have to, Xinying doubled up as a guide and helped to take photographs for us. It was our pleasure to treat him to have lunch with us.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with our private charter driver, Mr Zhang. The journey itself was incredibly pleasant - the car was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making the entire trip smooth and relaxing. What truly elevated the experience, however, was his role beyond just driving. service: We have a very good driver/tour guide Alex Chang! No dull moments with him the entire time we were on tour, he knows even the short cut in Shifen Watefalls as we have a senior on a wheelchair with us and going to the waterfalls using the steps will be very hard. he made sure we enjoyed our activities and even help took some of our pictures. Would definitely book again soon as we go back to Taiwan.
