[Klook Exclusive] Dining in the Dark in Kuala Lumpur

It was such a unique and memorable dining experience! You get to enjoy your entire meal in a pitch-black room and try to guess the dishes through their smell, taste, and texture, which made the whole experience really fun and exciting. The course included 4 appetizers, 2 soups, 3 main courses, and 5 desserts. Even our drinks were mixed up, and some desserts were served differently for each of us. It actually became a fun opportunity to communicate and realise that we were eating different things at the same time🤣 Our favourite was definitely the salmon with creamy mashed potato ☺️ Personally, I felt that the smoked chicken with Brussels sprouts was slightly too salty, while the apple mint sorbet and cherry compote were a little too sweet for my taste. Special shoutout to John, Jonathan and Anna for being so friendly & attentive throughout the experience. Highly recommend trying this at least once!

Arriving at the restaurant around 7:30 allows you to begin your meal. In the darkness, your other four senses are heightened. The meal includes four appetizers, two soups, three main courses, and five desserts, totaling 14 dishes. The portions are generous and everything is delicious. The overall experience is excellent. After the meal, it's like opening a mystery box to discover what you've just eaten. Throughout your dining experience, the servers will address you by name, which is a very thoughtful touch.

came here for an early Christmas celebration with my partner. Truly the place lifted that to its name and review. by far one of the more interesting dining experience i ever had. it's literally pitch dark in the dining hall where you'll be guided to your seat by your personnel waiter. our waiter, Marcus was very friendly and gave us step by step all the way during the duration of the dining..great service all the way and food was above average and portion was just nice for us Will recommend anyone to.visit here

this place is such a beauty, absolute breath taking , redemption is hassle free, the queue is short , it takes rougly about 5-10 minutes to get seated. the waiter is very detailled, entertaining, kind and friendly. trip is highly reccommanded. everyone likes to beautiful things isnt it? go for it!

it was an unforgettable experience and unique experience eating in total darkness. our server which is visually impaired staf was very good and explained how to eat each courses because there would be more than one each time. it is an experience one should do at least once in a lifetime and i will go visit for the second time soon....

A special experience. Under normal circumstances, tasting food requires color, fragrance and deliciousness, but when you lose your eyesight, you can only taste food by feeling, which is another taste, because you eat completely in the dark and can only rely on your own taste. Everyone is focused on tasting food, and communication will increase at the same time, because no one can play with mobile phones or take photos. 😆😆😆👍👍👍 The restaurant specially arranges some activities to make everyone feel the fun of eating in the dark. This trip has made me admire the blind people very much. Living in the dark feels anxious and uneasy. I hope you will experience eating in the dark so that you can understand the feelings and difficulties of blindness.

My friends and I are having a great time here. We all think this is an amazing experience! The most exciting part was when we revealed the food we had eaten after finishing the meal. All the servers were visually impaired! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

No need to put a makeup on. The room was extremely dark. No phone was allowed. It was meant for you and your partner to talk and to experience the darkness together. The food on the other hand was superb. It is beyond our expectation. We thought we were eating A but we actually ate B. Lol. Expect the unexpected. The server who actually attended our session was awesome. Marcos. He deserved an applause for his service. When he explained why he need to clap/ make a sound: he said he need to alert other people that he is on his route. This place deserved more exposure

It was such a great experience. We enjoyed our dinner in pitch-black room, no phones no distraction, just conversations and great food. Love every bit of it. We were led by the attentive staff named AK, and Jonathan at the front of house is really friendly too. 10/10 recommend for couples and friends.
