Kaituna Whitewater Rafting Experience

wish the whole experience was longer, would love to go on the course twice! safety was emphasized and even if you couldn’t swim, you can still do the activity! guides were super helpful. definitely more fun if you can swim, you go down one small waterfall! they also provide wetsuits and boots so you just need swimsuit/towels only, no need water shoes! you can also pay for photos for 40NZD 😂

HIGH RECOMMENDED for adrenaline junkie! the view was amazing and all guide were super helpful and encouraging. Kudos to 3 of our guide, who was ever so friendly and accomodating to us. Even if u cant swim, dont ever worry they made everyone wear a life jacket as safety precautions! also support local activities!

Highly highly recommend. Our guide Raife was super entertaining and we had fun the whole trip! Going down the waterfall is a super unique experience and you definitely have to try this at least once in your lifetime. They also provided everything you need, life jackets, wetsuits and even boots. so all you need to do is turn up in your swimmers and bring a towel. Superb experience. left on an adrenaline high and would definitely want to go again if i can in future.

This was our first time on river drafting and it was so much fun!! Definitely recommend it. It looks scarier than the experience itself, honestly even old farts can do this without screaming. I honestly think it could be done in a more exciting way. Facilities wise it was not equipped with a proper shower room, but there was cold plunge and sauna room available at the site. They also provided shampoo, soap, and towels which was very nice of them to offer. Pictures were taken and offered at NZD40 for all, which you could share with your raft mates.

It was extremely fun for a first timer. The crew are very professional and guide you carefully. most importantly, safety first! the hot shower and sauna after make it good to best!

It was safe, professional and so much fun. They knew what they were absolutely doing at all times and we never doubted that they would take absolute good care of us. Highly recommend this activity!
