Good The room itself was nicely decorated . The property has very specific instructions to get into the building including using WiFi to gain access to a link the opens a pop up on your phone to release the door. This was new to me, and I was nervous standing on the street making all of the steps happen. The building is covered in graffiti which was a bit shocking to us as we arrived. Other travelers had not mentioned the building's exterior, but it is available on Google Maps street view. The room (#1) had an odor of mold upon entering, and the large bath towels could have been nicer/newer. There was also a bit of street noise (talking) until 10 or so, and then it was fairly quiet. Hopefully, a different perspective than previous travelers will give people a more accurate view. Our stay was fine, but I would not stay here again.

Fantastic We had a great overnight stay at Smart Guest House and would definitely recommend it for anyone passing through Rome.
The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk from Roma Termini, making it incredibly convenient if you’re arriving or departing by train or heading to the airport. It was the ideal base for our one-night stay.
Communication with the property was excellent from start to finish, with clear instructions that made check-in quick and easy. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay.
If you’re looking for a convenient, well-located and hassle-free place to stay near Rome’s main train station, Smart Guest House is an excellent choice. We’d happily stay here again.

FantasticStayed with partner
We had a perfect stay at the Smart Guesthouse in Rome. The host was very accommodating with allowing us to store our luggage and letting us know as soon as the room was ready as we were exhausted from overnight travel. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. It was also perfectly clean! The location was also wonderful for us as we could walk to the train station and we were able to visit everywhere we wanted to go either by a nice walk or a quick jump on the metro. It was perfect! Thank you for having us!

Our host was very communicative even in the middle of the night when there was a blackout! The building is also conveniently located just blocks from the Roma Termini where you can literally get anywhere around Rome. We would definitely stay again!
