I’ve been staying in this hotel since 1984 and it’s kinda old. amazingly, I was surprised that they did some major upgrades and yet kept the feeling of its grandness! I will definitely stay to in Imperial each time I’m in Ginza. still the best location for me . hotel location: service: was the best

As can be expected from a luxury and historic property, the service by all the staff was exemplary. The bathroom amenities were awesome and the shower had great pressure. The location is basically at the back door of Ginza so that was convenient. It’s also very close to the Imperial Palace and gardens for a great walk around the grounds. We were also able to walk to the monorail station from the hotel to head to the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal. the only con is that the beds weren’t the most comfortable.

If you're flying from the states then that probably means you're flight was delayed and you've been traveling for like 20 hours and not in the mood. From the second I was dropped off after a day like that at 10 pm my worries were alleviated and I knew I was in capable hands and could start enjoying my trip. Thank you to the staff for everything they did.
