Fantastic the location is great for the local shopping. The breakfast was fabulous, Even if you have tours going out of the old city it takes about 15 minutes to walk there. You have to be ok with going up stairs or detouring but I found the quiet on the new town side much preferable to the overcrowding in old town. There are good restaurants nearby as well. the Bus stop is right there and you can get everywhere super easy from this location.

Reception staff were very helpful on checking in and checking out. I had friends come to the room briefly before moving on to lunch and the staff were very professional and asked for consent to send them up, etc.

Lovely boutique hotel in the Malmaison style. Lots of visual extras in the hallways and reception area. Our room was one of the few with a window at the front overlooking St Andrews Square.

The hotel location is great. It's close to all the attractions and main streets. Many options for dinners and pubs in walking distance. There is a tram station next to the hotel which can take you to the airport in 30 min or to Leith in 20 min. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly.

Rooms had renovated walk in showers. The reception was impeccable Nd extremely helpful. Their detail to allergies was perfect. 10/10 would gladly stay again.
