Driver Arya was very helpful and sincere during the trip. However, communication in English might be a little tricky but not an issue with translation app😊😊 Overall, really enjoy this trip!

Our tour guide was Ujeee — highly recommended! He was very friendly, responsible, and managed the time really well throughout the tour. We all had a great time, and luckily the sky was beautiful that day too ☀️

It was well worth waking up early for this sunrise tour. We were picked up at 4am from our hotel and driven to the location where we transferred to our jeep. Our jeep tour included Bunker Kaliadem (also the sunrise lookout point), Alien Stone, Mini Museum, and Kalikuning (an add-on arranged through the operator DeJong Asia). Watching the sunrise over Mount Merapi felt peaceful, with stunning views of the volcano and its surrounding landscape in the early morning light. Our jeep driver shared information and stories throughout the tour, along with his personal thoughts and experiences as a resident whose home was destroyed during one of Mount Merapi’s past eruptions. He also took beautiful photos and videos for us throughout the tour!

The timing, pick-up, and jeep driver were excellent. Watching the volcano in the early hours was truly breathtaking. I chose the sunrise tour with the medium route, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience.

My driver was very fluent in English and had a great personality. He also listened to rock punk, and let me choose the playlist for the entire trip. He even helped take photos on Koh Hong. If someone wants to share a ride, the price would be more reasonable.

local operator will WhatsApp one day before, asking if you have any transport. our jeep driver was very passionate & explained the history of each attractions in clear simple English. also a very professional photo/videographer! chose the wet route & it was so fun!

amazing adventure on your private Jeep through rural lands with the volcano erupting right in front of you. amazing. driver was Estri and she was the friendliest and nicest and made subtle rearrangements for our benefit!

It was so much fun! Even though the weather wasn't great that day and we couldn't see the volcano, the process was still very interesting. We learned about the volcano's story, and it's definitely worth experiencing.
