Things to do in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

The vehicle provided was too small for the number of travelers. There were 4 of us, but they used a Nissan Sylphy, which made the back seat very cramped; we had to squeeze in. Also, the travel time between each tourist spot was quite long, with the longest being 4 hours. For such long journeys, a better vehicle should be provided, ideally a more spacious one, to ensure the comfort of the tour group. The itinerary should also provide more detailed information, such as how many nights of accommodation and how many meals are included. Some of the accommodations did not match the 4-star rating advertised online. The worst room on the trip was at Puhe, where water leaked out of the shower, and the air conditioning didn't work. The room was not ready for guests but was still provided to us. Only 3 lunches were included, along with 4 hotel breakfasts. The guide was very helpful, even though they only spoke Chinese. Some locations were quite far, so the itinerary should be better organized. For example, on the day we went to Fenghuang, we didn't arrive until after 8 PM. The activity was dressing up for photos, and while I enjoyed it, the timing was brutal; we didn't get to bed until 2 AM, and then had to leave again at 9 AM. There were also activities that required additional payment, such as watching the Miao tribe show.

An amazing experience. The process was incredibly smooth—I booked my ticket online in advance through Klook. When we arrived, we showed our passports at the gate and entered without any hassle. Getting around the park was just as easy; the views were absolutely epic. The scenery is a natural wonderland. Overall, it is a breath taking destination and a must-visit in Zhangjiajie . Highly recommended.

These 5 days spent with our guide Huang Li Fang passed quickly. She is always there to help you in case of problems. We were able to appreciate the wonders of Zhangjiajie, the Avatar mountains, and the city of Phoenix (Furong). The Xanxi show is an absolute must-see for a small price.

I like this trip very much! The travel society arranges the tour guide to contact you in advance, which hotel to stay in, and then arrange the pick-up and drop-off in advance. It's really very considerate. The scenery of Zhangjiajie is very beautiful. I will recommend my friends next time.
