Things to do in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

This was an excellent travel experience, and we're very grateful to our tour guide, Zhou Qing, for his care and arrangements throughout the trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Jam-Packed Day in Zhangjiajie! We had an amazing day with our tour guide Wendy! We climbed all 999 steps up to Heaven’s Gate at Tianmen Mountain, then crossed the stunning Zhangjiajie Glass Canyon Bridge — what a thrill! Even with rain, the fun never stopped, and that’s a true credit to Wendy’s energy and enthusiasm. The best part? It rained on us throughout the day, but honestly, it didn’t dampen the fun at all — that’s a testament to how engaging and enthusiastic Wendy was as a guide. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and its culture, and her English is excellent, making communication effortless for our group. She made what could have been a logistically complicated day feel completely smooth and stress-free. Transportation was smooth and well-organized throughout. We’re already planning to come back in spring! If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, book with Wendy — 5 stars all the way! 🌟

it’s raining yet I have so much fun as a solo traveler i finished all the trail for only 3 hrs .

Even though the day of our excursion was very rainy with reduced visibility, our guide James made the experience very positive. It's a good option for visiting the park in less time and avoiding wasted time.

It's definitely worth buying for unlimited use of the three-cable car and one-lift system. Unless you follow your travel itinerary very strictly and manage your time perfectly, you'll likely find yourself using it repeatedly.

The Zhangjiajie itinerary was rich and fulfilling, with magnificent scenery every day and over 20,000 steps walked. It was well-planned and worth the trip. It was a five-star private luxury tour, and the hotel was good. However, the itinerary stated that meals were included, but the travel agency did not provide them, so we had to arrange all meals ourselves. This was the only drawback.
