The location is great. It's close to the subway station, Sakae, Nagoya Castle, and Mirai Tower, all within walking distance. The room condition is excellent. The public bath is also clean and helps relieve travel fatigue. It's great.

The hotel's location is perfect, a shopping paradise! It's across from Alpennagoya Sports Mall, next to Starbucks, and in front of Pargo Department Store. I was surprised by how clean and spacious the room was, and the bathtub was great too. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke Korean very well. I'm 100% satisfied with the location, facilities, breakfast, and service. There were many Chinese guests, probably because they know it's a great value for money :)

The hotel is not far from Sakae Subway Station, and you can use the elevator in the Chunichi Building to easily transport luggage. The hotel staff are very friendly. There are washing machines, a microwave, and an ice maker on the 3rd floor. The room is a bit small but very clean and comfortable.

What impressed me most about my stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Taiko-dori Side was its excellent location. It's just a few minutes' walk from the Taiko-dori exit of the station, which is incredibly convenient for travelers with large luggage or those arriving by Shinkansen. The hotel maintains the brand's consistently high standards, with clean rooms and a cleverly designed layout. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom significantly enhance the quality of the stay. There's a convenience store downstairs and numerous restaurants nearby, making the amenities impeccable. Given its convenience and comfort at a transportation hub, the price is quite reasonable, making it a top choice for business and leisure travelers seeking great value and an efficient itinerary.

It was a very comfortable stay. The hotel is incredibly close to the meeting points for both the one-day and three-day tours. Also, because the train station is very large (you might have to walk 500 meters inside), and the hotel is exceptionally close to the station exit, it doesn't feel like you're walking over a kilometer. We didn't have breakfast included, so I can't comment on that. There's no public bath for soaking. However, the queen-size (6-foot) double bed in the room is very large, which is rare in Japan, making it perfect for two adults and one child. Amenities and a microwave are located on the first floor. Next door, there's a Furaibo chain chicken wing restaurant and Raikyo Ramen. Menya Shishimaru is a 650m walk away (conveniently located on the Taiko-dori exit side).

was the sauna room too much? probably, but booking it in the middle of our trip was perfect. it was a well needed break and rejuvenating spot as we travel to multiple cities throughout Japan. the meals are a must, breakfast was so good! The neighborhood was perfect. not too busy, easy access to the palace, museum, and the restaurants within a block ended up being our favorite of the trip. Check out Still thinking coffee diagonally across the street for a great pick me up.

The location is extremely, extremely, extremely convenient! The entrance is right at the E4 exit of the underground shopping street, close to the Nagoya (West Exit) bus station, and there's an underground passage/shopping street that leads directly to JR and Meitetsu. It's incredibly convenient!
