If you're planning a trip to Hakodate, the 5-day JR Pass is a great option. A round trip to and from Hakodate Station almost equals the price of the pass, and you can also use it to visit other places like Noboribetsu, Lake Toya, and Yakumo, making it very cost-effective. Redeeming the pass is easy. When purchasing, you only need to fill in the contact information, not the user information. Just show the same number of passports as purchased at Sapporo Station to complete the process. There are also Cantonese-speaking ticket agents available, making communication very convenient.

The product is excellent. I received it mere seconds after placing the order, which I found incredibly fast and efficient, and it was even cheaper than buying it locally in Japan.

Upon arrival, I exchanged currency at the counter; the staff was polite. However, the next day's trip from Hakodate was canceled due to weather. We waited at the station from 11 AM until 4 PM for the announcement that all trains were canceled for the day, wasting an entire day of our itinerary just waiting at the station.

A full-day tour of Blue Pond, Shikisai-no-oka, Farm Tomita, and Rokkatei – all inclusive! Excellent value for money! Although there weren't any stops along the Patchwork Road (only slowing down to view it from the bus), it was understandable due to the long journey. However, the sightseeing time allocated to the other attractions was sufficient. Our tour guide, Cookie, was very experienced, providing information about each attraction's highlights and delicious food recommendations before we got off the bus. The driver was also very responsible. I recommend the soup curry and soft-serve ice cream at Shikisai-no-oka, and the cheese cookie sandwich at Rokkatei cafe! The lavender-scented hand sanitizer and soap at Farm Tomita are also great souvenirs to buy! I highly recommend this tour to those who aren't driving but want to visit most of Biei and Furano's attractions!!!

Taking the railway in Hokkaido? Buying a pass is definitely the most cost-effective option. Head to the information center at a major station, and English-speaking staff will assist you with the process. Remember to keep your ticket safe, as replacements are not available if lost!
