Things to do in Forest Research Institute Malaysia

As a frequent visitor of big cities in Asia I usually book a guided tour during the first days to get an overview of the city and its attractions. I can then decide where I want to spend more time and visit again in the following days. I've had many very positive experiences but this one definitely stood out. The full day tour with guide Chandran and captain Praba was well organized and executed and highly informative. From the first contact via email and WhatsApp from Chandran to his nearly infinite knowledge about Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and all the attractions it was not only a pleasant but an outstanding day. I have seldom met a person with so much passion for the culture of his country, presented in an easy understandable way, fully inclusive of the many different cultures and languages on the bus. No question been left unanswered and nothing was too much. I can't recommend this tour in general and Chandran in particular enough! I would gladly do it again just for the experience!

Really enjoyed this full-day trip! It was perfect for us since we only had a short time in Malaysia and wanted to see as much as possible. A big thank you to Chandran, who was friendly, helpful, and shared lots of interesting information about every place we visited. He made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

very nice and professional tour guide assigned for my group. He did a full tou explanation from start to the end. We can see the extra effort he commit during our tour.

Really enjoyed our half tour with our guide Melvin. He was very kind, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the Batu Caves and the Batik workshops. We learned a lot in the few hours we had with him. The coach was very comfortable with AC and complimentary water and the whole process was very easy from the time of booking. He even dropped some of us off at hotels and different locations which was very convenient. I would highly recommend.

In all fairness, we went to almost every place, and we even had time to shop and buy souvenirs. The only thing was that it rained in the afternoon, so some people weren't as enthusiastic about getting off the bus. The tour guide was also very informative. Oh, I almost forgot, they offer free chocolate tasting, and you can also try painting on what I think is their traditional dress. It was a great experience. They are also strict with time and eating on the bus isn't allowed, which is very understandable. So, it's a 10/10 for me!

Such a fun tour! Steven was our tour guide and his car was so nice and comfortable, he gave us the perfect amount of time exploring each location and it was so nice having him drive around and not have to worry about parking or getting a grab at each place, he also gave little facts about each place we passed by

good trip overall. we booked the full van and managed to adjust our tour to our preference.
