Nishiki Market tours

Juliette is fluent in English, patient and informative. Grilled octopus on a stick, deep fried tuna, Macha ice cream, etc. It’s a very busy area, which makes stopping for a chat difficult at times, however Juliette is regularly checking to make sure all group members are still together. In my opinion, Juliette went above and beyond. group size: 2 adults, 2 children.

Our guide was Lully. She was like an gurdian angel who took good care of us by sharing the history & culture and showed us all the beautiful places patiently and gladly. Our driver was fantastic too! We truly had a wonderful time and appreciated the tour very much! Wouldn’t be able to see so much pleasantly on our own. Even my 19 year-old daughter who is not fond with tours said this one was great!

Miki was wonderful! Designed a great itinerary for the day. Tailored to our needs and requests. Very knowledgeable. Also, very curious about our culture. Even helped with IC card. Would thoroughly recommend!

Our tour guide, Lobato, a student from Brazil, led us through Kyoto's highlights. The first stop was Fushimi Inari-Taisha, a tough challenge with many stops along the way, but we reached the top. We then visited Kenni-ji Temple for a peaceful Zen experience, followed by Yasaka Shrine. Feeling starving, we dined at a recommended tonkatsu restaurant and finished with ice cream at Nishiki Market. The tour was excellent, with our guide explaining traditional vows and Kyoto culture, and he also helped us catch an earlier train to Osaka. excellent job
