It's very thoughtful that they can pick you up from the hotel in the morning, but unfortunately, they can't drop you back off at the hotel after the activity ends. The one-way trip is about 4 hours, and there will be rest stops on the way there and back. You'll have about 30-40 minutes to buy things and eat. We participated in the tour on January 1st, and everything was open. Hallstatt is beautiful. One trout restaurant there only accepts cash. After arriving, the tour guide took us up to the church for a quick tour, and then we had free time, about 3-4 hours, which was plenty of time. Recommended for people who don't want to research the route themselves.

I did this trip solo and would totally recommend it to anyone who's still deciding. Visiting three landmarks in one day was definitely worth it. The schedule felt a bit rushed, especially in Hallstatt, but overall it was still a great experience. The bus was comfortable, and our guide Olgo was nice, friendly, helpful, and did a great job explaining things and keeping everyone entertained.

Stephan is our guide for today and he is very clear and professional in his delivery. He is also punctual for the meet up. He guided us through the whole tour inside, and also brought us to the gardens to show us where we can proceed for good photos. Highly recommended! It will be good if you do not carry any bag with u, or a very small one if required as u will be required to deposit them before heading in.

Martin is an amazing guide. The hotel pickup was on time. Martin gave us little sweet surprises throughout the trip. He covered many places, providing heads-up about the entire plan and offering excellent insights into Bratislava, the multiple castles we visited, and their history. It was very fun. He also ensured we did not rush and enjoyed every moment. Additionally, he offered to take pictures for us, which was very nice. The sweet surprises were an amazing touch. You would be lucky to have Martin as your guide for this trip.
On the way back, we requested him to drop us off in the center of the city so that we could visit the Christmas market. He was very happy to do that. It was very nice, and the trip ended on a high note.

We had an amazing day trip to Hallstatt, Melk Abbey, and Salzburg. Our driver, Jessin, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout the journey. The ride was extremely comfortable, making the long day very enjoyable.
Jessin even took us to an additional stop that was breathtakingly beautiful, which was a wonderful surprise and truly enhanced our experience. Communication was smooth and clear from start to finish, and we really appreciated the snacks and water provided along the way. There were also plenty of washroom breaks, which made the trip very comfortable and well-paced.
Highly recommended—this day trip exceeded our expectations!

The meeting location should be listed as the bus stop next to the group center, not the group center itself. Everyone went there and got lost. Everything else was great.
