Hallstatt and Salzburg Full-Day Tour

Pricilla was an absolutely wonderful guide for our trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg! She was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable guides we’ve had, and she made the entire day such a memorable experience. She shared so much interesting history and insight about both places while always being warm, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell she truly cares about making the experience special for everyone. She also took beautiful pictures of us on the trip and even printed them out for us, which really made our trip excellent! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—thank you, Pricilla, for an amazing day!

What a beautiful day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg 🤍 Everything was so well organized — the tour was punctual, the agent was incredibly kind, and we were even treated to free snack and coffee ☕✨ Everyone was so friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside is that since it’s a day trip, the time at both places felt a bit short… definitely not enough to fully explore such stunning locations. But overall, it honestly felt too good to be true. Ending the day with a lovely postcard was such a sweet touch. Truly an awesome experience 💫

Ottavia and our driver were fantastic! Ottavia was incredibly hands-on and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She took excellent care of us and shared interesting historical insights about the places we passed along the way. The complimentary coffee and water, biscuits, candy, postcards, and photo service were such lovely surprises and really added to the experience. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches!

The highlight of this trip to Austria was visiting the fairytale-like village of Hallstatt. Before I left, I saw a post on Instagram saying that the village might restrict or even refuse too many tourists in the future. Although it rained on and off during my visit, it fortunately didn't affect my itinerary, and I successfully found the classic postcard-perfect photo spot. The afternoon's itinerary was Salzburg, which was another stop I was really looking forward to! I finally had the chance to visit Mirabell Palace, a filming location for the movie 'The Sound of Music.' Plus, it's the birthplace of the musical prodigy Mozart, making it an unmissable destination for anyone familiar with Western classical music. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate in the afternoon, and it rained from start to finish. But even with the rain, I still managed to visit all the attractions I wanted to see. Special thanks to our tour guide, Melo, for helping me with the video editing.

The day trip is very long. After departing from Vienna at 7 AM, you'll arrive in Hallstatt around 11 AM. The town is beautiful, and the tour guide will help everyone take photos by the lake. Meals in town generally start around 20 EUR, coffee and hot chocolate are around 4 EUR, and snacks like pizza are around 10 EUR. There are many options, and it's very convenient to arrange your own meals while exploring the town on foot. In the afternoon, the journey to Salzburg is about 1.5 hours. This time, it happened to be the Christmas season in December, and the city walk included a visit to the lively Christmas market. The return trip back to Vienna is also about 3-4 hours, so be prepared to accept a long bus ride. The bus pick-up and drop-off are punctual, and the driver's driving skills are excellent. The driver drove steadily and smoothly for a round trip of nearly 800 kilometers in one day. The tour guide has a wealth of knowledge and lively explanations, and also inserted many short stories during the on-board or on-road tour, creating a lively atmosphere. There is a toilet on the bus, and there are free toilets available at each attraction. Overall, a good experience.

Very informative guide, bus ride smooth and always on time, just be ready for a lot of walk and the tour guide is generous enough to give us free printed photographs of us she even volunteered to takes our photos

I was very satisfied with this one-day tour. Our guide was very responsible and prepared a small amount of snacks, coffee, and free photos for each of us. Although it was a long bus ride, the driver's skills were very stable, making the journey comfortable. There was a 10-minute break and restroom stop midway. Hallstatt's scenery is beautiful and a must-see in life; I'm grateful the weather was great that day. We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon tea in Salzburg. This tour is definitely worth taking.

the package is very good. I received the email for the information detail of the tour, a day before the departure date. I texted the tour guide to confirm and respond is fast. we gathered and departed the bus and the whole trip as per planned. there’s coffee and light bites offered complimentary in the bus by the tour guide. they’re professional explained in detail of each attraction points. We got our surprise gift from them before leaving the bus - photos took in Hallstatt. I would highly recommended this package to those who want to travel to Hallstatt and Salzburg.

They took me to the hotel right in front. I was not able to communicate at all, so they guided me with a translation app and took a lot of photos for me, which I am grateful for. I was satisfied with the tour, and I was especially impressed with Hallstatt, and I am glad that I signed up for the tour. However, it was cold in the car during the trip, even with a jacket on, so I think it would be good to have some cold weather gear. Also, I regret that I was car sick the whole time, due to the smell of the other customers.
