Shanghai Food tours

it was a nice experience with the Hanfu custom and make up and photography with my family. we have a great time, the food taste not bad and customer service is tip top. appointment need to book thought WeChat and take note the slots are only available 2 weeks in advance. we are likely to manage to book and get to sit together as there are 5 of us.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience despite going alone. It was my birthday lol The performance is amazing as well as the presentation. One thing I have to note tho is that it can get pretty fast changing between meals. However, if you haven’t finished the meal yet, you can tell the server and it’ll be okay. The food is not spectacular but I was stuffed! I liked the meat balls hehe They also refill your tea and wine. If you’re still hungry I think you can get seconds. The people beside me did lol I can’t speak Mandarin tho

The location and environment were very good. However, the ticket exchange area was small and very crowded. The food was generally okay, but the performance level was below expectations. I was expecting 1930s Shanghai ㅠㅠ

Thanks to TJ, our guide, we had a wonderful time on our trip to Shanghai. He was fluent in both Korean and English, which made communication easy, and he gave us detailed explanations about Shanghai's food and culture. Above all, despite the rainy and cold weather, he was kind enough to guide us and sincerely helped us to taste as many different foods as possible. We were really grateful. I think I would have regretted not applying for the food tour. Thanks to him, I think I can go back with good memories of Shanghai. I confidently recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it!

very nice experience - first a few kind of teas are introduced and prepared. than you can try them. And I really liked that I could choose my own snack. Afterwards you can sit on the roof top terrace and drink the rest of your teas with a great view of the Yuyuan Garden. The address is not so easy to finde because it is inside of the shopping district - I used Amap to find it and asked a few people.

The experience involves visiting a local's home and learning to cook dishes they've been familiar with since childhood. It's full of things you could never do on a typical trip, and it was a valuable experience. The recipes are easy to recreate at home, but the taste is authentic and very good. The host, Rachel, is fluent in English, so there's no need to worry about Chinese. She's friendly, and you'd probably be fine even if you don't speak English. It was my first trip to Shanghai, and through conversations about things other than cooking, I gained a deeper understanding of Shanghai. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a local experience! Also, there's a cute dog.

We did not manage to do the tour due to a misunderstanding, but the tour company provided us with free cancellation. I am very satisfied with them because they were very friendly and patient with us.

We are so lucky to have Sandra & Samuel to be our guide in Zhujiahiao water town today. They are so friendly & knowledgeable. They came to our hotel pick us up & show us around the ancient town. We had chances to try many local food that they bought for us. The food & tour is so amazing! We do not feel they are the tour guide. Instead we feel both of them are our good old friends spending time with us in the Watertown. We had wonderful time together. Thank you Sandra & Saumel! Hope to see you again in the future!
