Things to do in Labuan Bajo

A lovely afternoon and great value for money. Rangko cave with its blue lagoon was refreshing, the snorkelling world class and the hilltop view serene. Highly recommend as a precursor to the big Komodo Island day trip!

Boat Condition: The boat was in excellent condition! It was clean, safe, and there were no areas where one could get hurt. Oh! On days with choppy waves, I thought it would be great to have seatbelts, as there was a concern of falling off the chair even when sitting still at high speeds. :) Guide: Yoga briefed us on the tour itinerary and explained the rules to ensure safety and protect the tour sites. With a lively and positive vibe, he took great photos at each tour spot and naturally led conversations. During snorkeling, he guided my wife and me, who are not accustomed to swimming in the sea, by holding onto a life tube, allowing us to see beautiful corals, fish, turtles, and even sharks! I would definitely recommend him to friends planning a trip to Labuan Bajo! Itinerary: We visited Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Komodo National Park, then had lunch, stopped at a beautiful beach, and went snorkeling at Manta Point and Reef Point. The tour started at 6 AM and ended around 3:30-4 PM, which felt just right. :) Safety: We didn't have major concerns thanks to the professional boat driver and staff. However, it was a particularly windy day with rougher waves than usual. Although I don't usually get seasick, I felt a bit unwell today. Even if you don't typically experience seasickness, it would be wise to bring motion sickness medication.

We are Koreans who went on our honeymoon here. At first, we hesitated because there were fewer reviews compared to other places, but we trusted the Korean reviews and booked it. I highly recommend it! It was the Ohana company, and the boat was in great condition. At each snorkeling spot, there were many people, but they gave us small flower pins to help us distinguish ourselves, so we didn't get confused. All the guides were very kind. At Manta Point, I was too scared to go in, but the guides took my phone and went in themselves to record videos for me, which was the best!

We had a really fun trip and overall a great experience from start to finish. The boat was smaller since it was a small group, but it was comfortable, safe, and well organized. The guide and staff were very helpful, especially when assisting everyone in and out of the boat. Just a heads-up: in the morning the tide is low, so you do have to step or jump out into knee-length water, so flowy dresses are not ideal. All of the activities were great. The hike to the viewpoint had a lot of stairs but was manageable and took about an hour. Pink Beach was nice, though not as pink as Instagram photos, which is good to know ahead of time. Komodo Island was a highlight, and we were lucky to see Komodo dragons, including one walking around. Lunch was very good with plenty of food and vegetarian options. We saw manta rays and turtles, with better visibility at Turtle Point. Everything went smoothly. Just note the Komodo Island entrance fee must be paid in cash. Overall highly recommended for trip!

Honestly I dont have a single complaint, Ive taken so many day trips in many countries and this easily ranks in the top experiences, the guide was knowledge and friendly, the communication was well in advance and transfers were smooth, the itinerary is pretty much standard for all day trips to Komodo. what makes a trip unique is the guide and our guide is simply the best and also knowledgeable. We witnessed 4 komodo dragons, while manta ray sight did not happen we did see turtles and amazing, vibrant coral reefs. I was lil skeptical because this was cheaper than other day trips, turns out paying more doesnt mean better service, Kudos to the team and the Local Operator CS Trip Nusa Nadhi. 10/10 Recommended ( they even charged my mobile when it went dead cause I took too many photos lol )

The driver picked us up on time, and we boarded the boat and started our trip before 7 AM. Every spot met our expectations; the pink beach wasn't exactly like the promotional pictures, but it was still very pink. The guide wasn't very humorous but was very responsible, actively helping us take photos while snorkeling and even pulling a life buoy for weaker guests. When we didn't see any manta rays at Manta Point, he took us to Mawan to look for them, and we were fortunate enough to see manta rays swimming right in front of us. The boat wasn't as luxurious as in the promotional photos, but it was acceptable for a trip. Don't have any expectations for the lunch box; it wasn't delicious but not bad either, most importantly, it filled us up. The tour fee itself was very reasonable, but the national park entrance fee was too expensive at 400,000 IDR per person, which was a bit disappointing. Everything else was great.

guide is very proactive, he explained everything we saw from the boat. he also actively offering for taking us pictures, and recommending which spot is the best and most interesting. there are so many baby sharks in kelor island, it is recommended to swim there. but in Manjarite Beach, I prefer to take picture of the beach only because the beach was very beautiful and exotic. I saw stingray in this beach, so I enjoyed seeing it. after that, were so lucky!! we met dolphin on the way to kalong island! the sunset is beautiful, the flying foxes even more beautiful!

The tour is well organized, the guys are very experienced, helpful, and friendly. They also provide hotel pick-up and drop-off at the end of the tour. You're among the first to arrive at the various spots, which means you won't be surrounded by crowds. The snorkeling is well organized, they provide everything you need: life jacket, mask, fins, and even an underwater phone case. For those who don't feel like swimming alone, a float is provided, towed by one of the guys, who will take you around. At the end of the snorkeling, they serve a delicious hot cappuccino to warm you up. The only downside is that you have little time at the various spots, they're rather hasty. I recommend it.

Leaving this review for every Chinese tourist who loves to enjoy and save money! As this private tour came to an end, standing on the pier, my tired mother said: "The experience today was truly intense." Being able to charter a boat with my parents, who are in their 70s, hike to the top of Padar Island together, and visit an almost deserted pink beach on the advice of our guide Andro, is a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. The fruit on board helped us replenish our energy, the brand new cushions allowed my father to lie down and rest comfortably, and Andro taking family photos for us at every attraction were all private services that exceeded my expectations. At the beach, my mother exclaimed that it was the clearest water she had ever seen in Indonesia. My father's first snorkeling experience made him as excited as a 17-year-old. Komodo dragons, baby sharks, coral, and sea turtles are all etched in our memories. When we went snorkeling at Manta Point, Andro went into the sea first to search, and after confirming the area where the manta rays were, he had the boat take my parents nearby, then used a lifebuoy to pull my mother to the area where the manta rays were feeding, and then held my father's hand, who was wearing a life jacket, to watch five black and white creatures circle and play in the sea. Seeing my father's red life jacket floating in the sea for a long time, I felt his joy and shock at seeing the free ocean giants. If you are traveling with 3 people, paying this fee may be more than double that of a large group, but the care and attention you receive is something you cannot experience on a hot, noisy, and unfamiliar large group tour (I have also participated in large group tours). But if you are traveling with 6 people, no matter how you look at it, this kind of chartered boat trip is the most cost-effective. A project with hundreds of reviews and a score of 4.8 is definitely worth it.
